I sat in the hall waiting for the end of lunch. Two weeks. I got grounded for two weeks, no training, no extracurricular activities (not like I had any anyway), and no leaving my room for anything but school and food.  It would be boring but I had my music and plenty of books. I have two days left of this grounding.

"What are you doing out here?" A boy asked.

"Waiting for lunch to end." I say simply.

"Oh. Cool. Can I sit with you?" He asked.

"Kate put you up to this?" I question not looking up from my book.

"No, I don't know a Kate. My names Daniel. Daniel Jones. But I prefer Danny." He introduces himself while sitting next to me. "Also, I don't believe the rumors." This caused me to put my book down and look at him. Blew eyes and pitch black hair.

"What rumors?" I question.

"Oh... uh-"

"Danny! There you are!" We both looked to see a girl with snowy white hair and bright green eyes. Others than the hair and eyes she looked just like Danny.

"Elle, Pax Wayne. Pax Wayne, this my twin sister Danielle, but we just call her Elle." He smiled.

"Daniel and Danielle? That must get confusing." I say.

"Eh, you get used to it. What are you doing sitting here?" She asked hugging her book. "What are you reading?" She asked sliding down the wall next to me.

" A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. I'm on the forth one. What's your book?" I asked.

"Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire." She smiled.

"The Potter books is the next series on the shelf. My oldest adoptive brother was having me make my way threw the movies. We got threw the fourth one but then I got myself grounded." I informed.

"Danny got himself grounded For breaking one of grandmothers vases." She smiled.

"Yes, well if you caught the ball when I threw it, it would not have broken would it?" Danny sassed, rolling his eyes.

"When do you get ungrounded?" Elle asked.

"I snuck out when a friend of my father was supposed to be watching me."

"If you don't mind me asking, you were on the street growing up, yes?" Elle questioned.

"Oh, well not really. I mostly jumped from home to home. The foster system." I say.

"Is that why people seem to speak of you so illy?" Elle questioned, I could feel myself get uncomfortable but she seemed so genuine and like she really wanted to know.

"Elle stop. That's not our business. People shouldn't pick on anyone, no matter the reason." Danny scolded his sister.

"I'm sorry." She said quiet turning away.

"Hey, it's ok. And yeah, people pick on me for it. But ever since that girl Kate started here they don't speak of it much. They all like her but she's from the system like me so if they try to insult me about it than they are insulting her. The smart ones find ways around this dilemma though." I explained.

"Oh, well people need to learn manners. You'd think that their parents would have thought them a thing or two about manners." Elle said crossly.

"Yeah, well, sometimes a kid is just the Minnie reflection of their parents." I shrugged.

"The Jones I presume?" Mrs. Morgan smiled sweetly.

" yes." They said in unison. Kinda creepy.

"My names Mrs. Morgan and, look at that, you've already made a friend! Ms. Wayne, did you know that these two are training to our class? They stated right away lunch." My teacher smiled.
