3 - What about a dance?

I know the last 2 chapters aren't that exciting at all but this is the last boring chapter. These 3 chapters are kind of an introduction of the characters and their lives. The next chapter will be a year later and they will go to the concert. I already have a really good idea what to next after that and it will be really fun so I hope you will read this chapter anyway :) Now, let's continue the story. 

Lia's POV

Wow, that was unexpected. "Well, do you want to go with me Lia?" Luke asked me.

"Well ehm, sure why not?" I mean, he's great so why not? It's not that Niall will ask me anyway. I used to have a huge crush on Luke but that kind of faded away this year, I don't exactly know why. I always was a fangirl of One Direction but the last year I just thought of them more like a possible boyfriend, which is crazy I know but everybody does it right? Anyway, Luke would never think of me in that way, we were just friends. Well, that's what I thought, until now. He asked me to the dance! Or he's just desperate for a date just like me and thinks that we will just go as friends, but I don't exactly know. I have to ask him.. 

"Seriously? It will be great, I promise! I'll text when I'll pick you up!" He said to me and he gave me a quick hug before he walked away. 

"Ehm Luke?"

"Yeah?" He turns around. 

"I'm just a little bit confused. I don't really know how to put it are we going as friends or am I really your date?" I ask him blushing. 

"Well, I was hoping you would be my date."

"Okay, I would love to. Bye Luke." I say to him smiling and hugging him again. We both walked into the school to our friends. 

Now Kristy should definitely be asked by Connor and now I hope that the other girls also will have a date. And if they don't, they at least will have each other and I will come to them as well of course. 

"O MY GOD, Luke just asked me to be his date to the dance!" I screamed when I walked to them.

"Oh my god Lia! What did you say?" Mary screamed back.

"Yes, it's not like anyone will ask me and always had a little crush on him. Niall will never ask me anyway so why not? There's not much to lose right?" I say and the girls nod in agreement. 

"But Kristy, did Connor asked you already?" Diana asks her.

"Well ehm, yeah. I wanted to tell you all but Lia wasn't there yet so yeah, he asked me and I'm so happy right now!" Kristy told us. We're all so happy for her because she's totally crazy about him and they really fit well together.

"Now we have to go dress shopping! What about this weekend? Next week is the dance already so we need to get something!" Diana said. We already knew that the dance is next week but we just haven't bought our dresses yet.

"I agree, we have to go this weekend. We'll just go to the Bijenkorf or something. I think we can find something there." Suze said to all us. For those of you who don't know, the Bijenkorf is a big warehouse and that's one of the places to find good dresses for a dance/prom.

"Sounds like a plan, we talk about that later on whatsapp. No we really have to go home because the tickets for One Direction almost go on sale!" Mary said and we all walked out the school and went home. Diana, Mary and I went to Diana's house to get the tickets. 

Omg I'm so nervous, I hope we'll get them but we're really on time so I guess we can get those tickets. "5 more minutes to go, aahhh!" Diana was screaming, and we all screamed with her.
