Niall’s POV

“So can you please explain me why did you exactly held this competition?” The interviewer asks us. It’s Wednesday right now and they made a little studio in the management’s office to do the interviews.

“We need a new single and because of all the craziness with the tour we didn’t have any time to write one.” Louis says.

“And this is a great opportunity for some great songwriters to show their talents to the rest of the world.” Liam adds.

“So you don’t write any of your songs?” The interviewer asks us, seriously? What is she thinking, does she want to take us down or something? Well that’s not gonna happen.

“No, we do write our songs, not this one but everyone will know about that. It’s just that we needed a good new song in a short amount of time, we didn’t have enough time to write a good one. This way it’s a win win, we have a good song in short notice and a great songwriter gets an opportunity of a lifetime.” I say and I’m proud of my answer, I see the boys smiling at me so I know I said the right thing. The interviewer looks at me for a few seconds before continuing. 

“Oh all right, well that’s good. I’m excited to hear the songs.” She says not knowing what else to reply.

“Yea we’re too. I mean we heard them of course but that’s a while ago and it all sounds different live and with an actual performance and a band playing the song than when it’s a recorded video at home.” Louis says and we agree with him. The interviewer asks us a new question but Louis, who sits next to me, is making weird faces and although I try to contain my laughter, I can’t. Liam and Zayn are talking with her, Harry just gives me and Louis weird looks while we’re poking each other and making weird faces.

“Niall what about you?” she asks me but I have no idea what she’s talking about. I see Harry chuckle because he knows that I didn’t hear the question.  

“I’m sorry what did you say?”

“Who’s your favorite, who do you think will or should win?”

“Oh ehm, I think they’re all really good. I love all of their songs and it would be really nice to work with one of them. They’re really nice people.” I reply. I know this isn’t what everyone wants to hear but I can’t say more.  

“Yes about that, we saw you leaving the hotel, where all the finalists are sleeping,  pretty late Monday night?” she asks. Oh she’s really looking for some good details. Well it’s not as interesting as she wanted it to be, take that hah!

“Hahahaha, what do you think we were doing there?” Louis laughs and I see her blushing. “3 of us have a girlfriend, we would never do that!” he finishes.

“Except Zayn maybe…” Harry mumbles and although she couldn’t hear him, we certainly did and we burst out into laughter remembering the dare Zayn had to do. Even Zayn has to laugh at this and I see the interviewer sitting there a bit lost, like a lot of interviewers do when we have these kind of moments.

When we’re a bit calmed down Liam replies to her question with a real answer, before rumors start and thinks will get out of hand.

“We were there just to have a little fun. We were bored and we knew where they were staying so we came there with our Wii and some games to entertain ourselves. We were there with Mary, Lia and their friends and Ava was there as well. The others were going out in town. We played a few games of Just Dance and after that watched a movie and had some fun.” Liam finishes up his summary of what happened 2 days ago. I start to chuckle again when I remember the ‘cycling competition’ we had, running around on our hands and knees as fast as we could.
