i rushed to open the front door to see liam , and when i opened it , there he stand as if nothing has changed , he still looks the same as he looked in high school , but just a tad bit taller . i greeted him with some weary smile
"liam.."
"dane , what's wrong with you man? you look so pale? as if you just saw a ghost or something" he jokes to me , maybe i literally look pale because i fear for alex's life .
"we should go inside" i said to him bitterly .
"oh , okay." as he was going to step in ,
"hey liam , stay here for a bit , i'll be back in a sec" i walk past him inside to my study leaving him by the door
i forgot to get my gun to threatened him if he backed out of this . i put the gun in my back pocket and walk back to liam
"come on . " i said as i led him to the living room
and there he saw alex , laying there almost lifeless , his eyes went wild , he looks almost at bridge of screaming
"what the?!! you said you were sick?!! is that the girl?!!! the girl i saw on the news , she's missing!!! did you do this?!!!" he yelled his voice surrounding the entire room
"fuck liam !! just do your thing save her!!" i yelled back
"dane you're better than this! you don't just kidnapped a girl!! you're crazy , she should be taken to the hospital and YOU should be taken to the police" he points and screams to my face
i took the gun out of my back pocket and point it to him
"save her" i said through my gritted teeth
"whoa!! stop!" liam literally jumps away from me
"i'm not gonna say it again ok?" i put the gun to his head
"okay okay , just so you know , i'm only doing this for her" he looked away from me and approached alex
i sat on the couch opposite of them and watched liam injected some morphine and stichting alex's wrist , i heard alex groaned a few times . and liam would soothe her by telling her 'it'll be over soon'
an hour it's been ,
"you done yet?" i question him as i ran out of patience
"almost" he said , he didn't even look at me ,i bet he's disgusted at me but that wont matter to me anymore as long as alex is alive
"we should put her to bed , i'm done , she'd feel nauseous tommorow from the morphine but she'll be fine" liam said while looking at her and touching her cheeks
"don't touch her!" i pratically yelled
"i've been touching her for hours!!" liam yelled back "and you're crazy!! how did this happen??!!" he yelled to me
"we should put her to bed first , then we'll talk" i said trying my best to calm down
i carried alex's weak body to my room with liam and set her to bed , i left a kiss on her forehead and whispered sorry to her ear once more before turning my back and leaving to the door with liam
