The bell rang for lunch and I ran outside. I didn't eat lunch a lot. I just despise school lunches. Anyways, Braeden and I had to talk about our class crossover assignment.
So basically the theater kids and the choir kids had to form groups and put on a musical. It was our semester final. Winner also got one hundred bucks and you can bet that I wanted that.
He stepped out behind me and he had taken his Serpent jacket off because it was hotter then hell and the fucking air conditioner was broken. He didn't look like Betty much. Truthfully I think he was adopted too. I think he thinks the same. I don't know.
"What musical do you want to do? Also why are we the only ones having to decide this," he asked as he sat next to me on the steps.
"Because we are the only two who aren't going to have to pay for anything other than our own costumes," I said and he nodded.
"True. I had an idea and I'm kinda surprised you hadn't thought of it yourself," he smiled and then my eyes grew.
"Heathers," I practically screamed and he chuckled.
"Yep and who should everyone be cause we honestly don't have time for auditions," he said.
"Wait. Didn't he say we could use anyone we needed, because to do Heathers we need more people then we got," I said and laid down.
"Yeah, and Betty said that Jughead could probably help out," and once the name left his lips, I felt my cheeks light up.
"Yeah, but do you think the other Serpents could help," she asked.
"I guess I could call in a couple favors. Fangs does owe me for," he looked at me and I could see his cheeks darken. "Something."
"Oh my God. Did you," I almost yelled and sat up.
"Don't say it. I don't want to hear it," he bit his lip.
"I'm confused though. You do that for more then just him. Unless you like him," I smirked and he looked away.
"Bingo," he whispered and I tackled him.
"Jughead was right," I yelled with laughter.
"Get back to Heathers. Start naming off who should be who," he said, but he wouldn't look at me and his cheeks were still a dark red.
I chuckled lightly. "I'm Veronica and nobody can stop me, Archie could be Kurt or Ram, same with Reggie. Cheryl is definitely a Heather Chandler, Veronica can be Heather Duke, and Betty can be McNamara. Honestly though, Jughead should be JD because, well look at him," I whispered and looked away as my cheeks lit up. Imagine Jughead kissing me!
"Wait. You like Jug," he said and my cheeks only darkened. "I fucking knew it."
"Don't tell anyone," I practically pleaded.
"As long as you don't tell anybody about my feelings for Fangs," he said and I nodded.
"So. Should you and Fangs be Kurt and Ram's dad's,' I smirked and he hit me slightly.
"Yeah and your probably excited about the Dead Girl Walking scene," he smirked and I hit him like he did I. "Wait. You might not want Archie to be Kurt or Ram because of Blue."
I gagged. Holy shit. How the fuck hadn't I thought of that. "Fine. You and Fangs are Kurt and Ram. It'll be so much more comfortable for two gay guys to sing it to me anyways," I said and gagged again because now that I had that thought in my head from before, I just couldn't.
"Why do I feel like you're going to find a way to write it so we have to kiss or something," he said and I laughed evilly. "Yep. So who's gonna be Martha?"
"Ethel I guess. I don't know who else to put her as. I wonder if the Lodge's would play my parents because honestly I look more like them then my actual mother and father," I said and he shrugged.
"See if Roni will ask them. Maybe they could help the way the town sees them if they do. Have Veronica explain it that way or else I don't think they'll do it," he was laying down now. He looked thoughtful. Huh. There's a first time for everything.
"I'll text her," I said and pulled my phone out of my pocket.
You think your parents could play mine. We're doing Heathers and tbh they look more like me then my parents. (I'm being Veronica) And anyways, if they do this, it could make people like them more.
I clicked send and then it gave off the little sound my phone does that sends she saw it.
OMG. Heathers. I love it. Yeah. I'll ask them.
I read it out loud. I looked over at Braeden, but he just seemed distant. "So do you think Fangs has a boyfriend," I asked.
"Probably. Look at him. He's perfect," his voice was soft.
"I always thought you'd like Kevin. You're polar opposites," I said. He chuckled.
"Kevin's cute, but he's to sweet. Fangs is very sweet, but he's also tough," he sighed and sat back up. "I don't like feeling this way. I've never felt like this," he buried his head in his hands.
"Yeah because you're a tough Serpent who doesn't get touched by emotions," I said and he rolled his eyes.
"Nah. I guess I've just never really felt loved. So I guess I didn't think I could love," he chuckled. "I can't believe I said love."
"I am honest to God fangirling right now," I shrieked and he shook his head.
"Hey. You wanna do a movie night tonight. I don't wanna be home with Chic. He makes me uncomfortable," he said and looked away. (I changed the timeline. Fight me)
"Sure. I don't care," I shrugged. Chic honestly made me uncomfortable. "Hey. Do you still get calls from the Black Hood," I asked slowly.
"No. I'm just confused how he knows Betty and my numbers," he questioned as the bell rang. "Well see ya," he said and stood and we walked inside.
