Chapter 12

It's the first time we're running through the whole musical in full costume which really isn't good because we have to do this in a week. . Everything has actually been going well. Even Reggie has managed to keep his ego in check. I''m still trying to avoid Archie and Jughead because I'm still pissed off at them.

We're taking a five minute break before Big Fun because this room is incredibly hot. My dad and Alice are here watching. Why they are here, I don't know. It's kinda weird because after Big Fun is Dead Girl Walking and I am kinda terrified because he's going to see me strip and kiss Toni and yeah. Maybe I should introduce her as my girlfriend before hand.

I make my way towards her and she smiles. "Hey," she simply says.

"Hey babe. Are you cool with me telling my dad about you," I ask and she smiles.

"Why wouldn't I be," she questions and I laugh.

We begin to walk towards him and she gives me a reassuring smile. Dad smiles at me as we as I approach. "This play is great but would you like me to build you some sets," he asks.

"Uhm yeah. That would be great. That's not why I came over here actually. I wanted to introduce you to Toni Topaz. My girlfriend," I can feel myself bite my lip after I say the simple words.

"Nice to meet you Toni," My dad sticks out his hand and they shake hands. It was that simple? Huh. Cool.

"Well we have to get back to work but do you think Toni and I could come over for dinner tonight or we could go to Pop's," I hope he agrees with this. I've missed dinners with my dad.

"Yeah that sounds great," he smiles and Toni takes my hand as we walk back towards the stage.

I can see how tense Braeden is as we prepare for Our Love Is God. "What's wrong Braeden," I ask and sit next to him on a box.

"Well my mother is out there and I am about to kiss my boyfriend in front of her and its not exactly like I can kiss him and make it seem like it's just a stage kiss," he looks at me.

"Why are you so afraid of coming out to your mother? She's totally fine with Kevin," I ask and he sighs.

"It's different when it's your own kid. All she really seems to want is for me to marry a nice girl and give her grandchildren. She always said I should just ask you out already," he chuckles but its a pained one.

"You'll be fine Braeden. She'll find out someday anyways. If she doesn't accept it you can go live in my old room," I give him a reassuring smile and he smiles back at me.

We get to the point where the suicide note for Kurt and Ram is read. Instead of them saying it, we prerecorded it so they could kiss instead because I wanted to and nobody was going to stop me.

As the audio begins to play, I watch as Braeden grabs the back of Fangs head and connects their lips.The kis is short but heated and I can't help but continuously look at Alice. I can see Betty doing the same from the side. Alice's face is kinda blank. She doesn't look mad but she doens't look happy either.

We go through the rest of the song and I can see how red Braeden's cheeks are when he is only in his undergaments. I'll admit he played off the getting shot pretty damn well. We didn't have time to slow down afterwards though because we were really trying to get through the rest without stopping.

We finish and we're all tired and out of breath and the scene where Reggie and Archie kissed is kinda beautiful and I got a picture. Blackmail for the rest of their fucking lives. Braeden would probably find it hot. Okay. That was kinda rude. Rude but true. He had a thing for Reggie for like a year. He's over him now.

I sit down with my dad and we talk about different set designs. I promise to draw some things out whenever I can. It won't be that hard.

I can see Braeden sitting cross legged talking to Fangs. I c an see him giggle and then his eyes land on Alice. My dad sighs and I look at him. "Go help him," he says and I hug him before running towards the two guys.

"She won't take her eyes off me, but I just can't go over there. Talking to her is to much for me right now," Braeden buries his head in his hands. Fangs begins to rub his back.

"You have to though. You can't avoid this conversation forever," I put a hand on his shoulder. "Introduce him like I did Toni. This is Fangs Fogarty. He's my boyfriend."

Braeden nods and I can see his hands trembling. I watch from a distance as they walk over and Braeden introduces Fangs. I can see how confused Alice is. I hear footsteps and I can feel a hand grab mine and I smile at Toni.

"How do you think it's going," she asks and I shrug. My head falls onto her shoulder.

"No idea. I hope it goes well. He needs his family," I whisper and then a figure blocks our vision.

"Damn. You two grinding against each other is hot. Maybe I could get in the middle of that," Reggie smirks at us and I'm really not in the mood and Toni can tell from my grip on her hand tightening.

"If you don't shut the fuck up right not I will kill you," I growl out and he smirks. I feel his hand tuck a piece of hair behind my ear and before I can react, I watch as Toni strikes him across the face.

"Don't touch my girlfriend," she growls and she kisses me lightly.

"You know you are the best person ever right," I whisper and she smiles.

"I know. Definitely better then Jughead could ever be," she says and I know it's because Jugs behind us.

"I know. Your probably better in bed too. Maybe we should try it sometime," I whisper and can feel my cheeks flush.

"Maybe," Toni whispers and kisses me again but with a little more heat.

I can hear someone snap a picture and I don't hesitate to kick Reggie's phone out of his hand and I watch as Veronica smashes it with her heel.

"Thanks V," I smile at her and she simply nods.

"Come on. Let's go get ready for dinner with my dad," I say and we leave.
