I woke up and sighed. Braeden was still asleep on the floor and I roll my eyes and pull myself out from under the covers. I stare in the mirror and at the Serpent tattoo partially covered by my bra strap. I smile softly to myself. I hear my phone buzz and make my way over to the bedside table. I unplug it and see the spam messages from Jughead.
I set my phone down for a moment and nudge Braeden with my foot. He groans, but sits up slowly and looks at me. "What," he groans and I roll my eyes.
"He asked if we wanted to have lunch," I say and he gives me a look of confusion.
"He isn't a very descriptive word," he says and I roll my eyes.
"It's Jughead and he's waiting at Pop's for us," he rolls his eyes, but pulls himself up using his dresser and groans.
"Why does he want me there," he asks as he digs in his dresser for some jeans.
"I don't know. I didn't even message him back," he looks back at me with a rose eyebrow. "Okay. I know I should answer him," I say and grab my phone to type a quick okay before shoving it in my pocket. I toss his closet open and search for a shirt to wear.
"Is it weird how you can just walk around my room shirtless and it's just casual," he asks and I shrug.
"It's probably really weird, but that's just us," I say and he nods. I pull on my Panic at the Disco shirt and pull my Serpent jacket on. I turn and see him waiting with his arms crossed for me to move out of in front of the closet. I step out of the way and he smiles at me. he begins to dig through and then he pulls on a plaid button up that causes me to raise a brow.
"Is that even your shirt. You've never worn that before," I say and he just shrugs it off. I glare at his back as he pulls on his shoes and then ties his jacket around his waist. He pulls a small locket off his dresser and I help him put it on. "You got a hair tie," I ask and he nods and tosses me one. I pull my hair back and smile into the mirror.
"We're hot," he says and I snicker.
"Totally," I reply and we quickly make our ways downstairs. Then Chic appears and Braeden lets out a groan of annoyance.
"And where are you two going," he asks and I look at Braeden.
"Wherever the hell we want," Braeden yells and pulls me out the door behind me.
"I'm driving," I yell and he shrugs.
We get there quickly, only running like three red lights, but nobody was there so I don't think it really mattered. I park on the side of the building and Braeden shudders, but just waves it off. This boy is being so secretive right now and it's pissing me off.
We walk in and I see Jughead at a booth and Fangs in another booth on the other side of the restaurant. "I see why I was invited. Good luck with him," he says before heading to sit with the other boy. I stare for a moment before sitting in front of Jughead, who smiles at me.
"Hey," I whisper and take his hand that's resting on the table. He smiles and squeezes it lightly. "So what'd you wanna see me for," I ask and he shrugs.
"Just wanted to see you and I guess we have to talk about, you know what," he says and I nod slightly. "But first," he says, before he leans across the table and his lips press against mine and I smile and grab the back of his head, wanting more, before he pulls away and falls back against the booth. I do the same and suddenly see red hair outside the window. I turn and see both Archie and Betty staring in the window, wide eyed and pale.
"Juggie," I whisper and he follow my gaze and the smile that had been on his face was gone. I watched as Archie headed to the entrance and I heard the door get tossed open. Archie walked in, but Betty wasn't with him.
I watched Archie walk over and I couldn't even tell exactly what he was yelling at Jughead, but from what I heard, they definitely were not things you should say to your best friend. Then he turns to me and goes to grab my arm but someone slapped it away.
Braeden had Archie's arm in his hand, which caused Archie to shoot his elbow back. Braeden let out a cry of pain and his hand immediately went to grab his jaw. It wasn't three seconds before Fangs had tackled Archie and they began and they began to exchange blows to one another. I looked out the window and saw Betty walking away and knew that I needed to talk to her.
"Jughead handle these two and make sure Braeden's okay. I need to go talk to Betty," I say and he nods before jumping into action. I sprint out the door and grab her by the arm and turn her towards me.
"Betty please let me explain," I say, but she pulls her arm away.
"What is there to explain. You kissed him. Your together. Simple as that," she whispers, but won't look at me.
"There are different circumstances then that. Reasons that may have pushed us together more," I say and she glances at me.
"What. Arranged marriage," she suggests and I roll my eyes at that.
"No. I'm," but I trail off. Should I really tell her?
"If you can't tell me then why even bother with any of this," she whispers and she's clearly heartbroken and begins to walk away again.
"Jughead got me pregnant," I say quickly and she freezes and stares at me.
Look. I'm not dead
