The girl that was coloring with me and Ivy was Rylan. I met her in kindergarten but we didn't really become friends until first grade when her family started to build a house right down the road from where I live. I remember when they were building the house we were always in places we shouldn't have been and always getting hurt because of it but we didn't care because we were having fun. I remember Rylan catching a bird in an old trailer and her parents freaking out about it. I remember the day she broke her leg when we were playing with her older brother and the day she broke her arm when she wanted to make someone fly. We used to spend a lot of time in the woods just talking and pretending that was our entire life, it was really nice to think even for a minute that there was nothing else to worry about. We used to pretend that we were possessed to freak out our little brothers who were already afraid of everything. We sung in a few talent shows together in elementary just because we could and we loved coming up with a little routine together. We were always together either she was at my house or I was at hers. We fought like sisters constantly but I loved her like a sister so it was okay. We wrote songs and drew pictures. We went camping and walked our dogs. We were adorable little kids. I'm really shy so when I started Jr High it took me a while to make friends, she was the only person I talked to in 7th grade. In 8th grade rumors started people were saying that I was in love with her. Don't get me wrong she's perfect, but she was like me sister. Our friends started joking that they felt like they were third wheeling when they were around us. Until they weren't joking anymore and my girlfriend broke up with me because she said I was in love with Rylan. 9th grade me and Rylan got into a huge fight about how she didn't approve of the things that I was doing at the time. We didn't talk for months and when we made up we tried to be friends again but it didn't work. Also dear 'Rylan' if you ever happen to read this , I love you.
