I was doodling a face one day, similar to the one on the mask you'll see. I thought "Oh, that's a neat design. What if it was a mask?" So I remembered that and drew said mask on Pal since the face reminded me of Rune. Makes me think that this is some alternate Pal.

Apparently he forces his eye to keep glowing, and I guess without the mask, he's more skittish? Neat idea imo
