CHAPTER 13

Pitch's P.O.V

I had just moved into a new house with my mom. The house was smaller than my old one. But it was okay. The environment was fresh and nice. There was even a park near by. It was good enough for me.

My mom and I moved here cause she got a job offer. There were a few "gifted schools" around the world. This place was one of them. I was thankful. I don't think I would be able to keep my powers hidden all the time.

Well.. it was my first day and I decided to roam around the place and get to know it better. After a long roam, I decided to go to a restaurant cause I got hungry. I got in and I saw something that shocked me. I saw Jack...and not just Jack, Jack with a girl. Man, have times changed.

Before I got their attention, I decide to check the girl out. She was beautiful. Really beautiful. Where the hell did Jack get her from? Anyway,now that I've seen her , I wasn't going to let her go. I want her to be mine and mine only. Sure... I don't know what her attitude is like or whatever. But I decided I'm going to get to know her. Be friends with her and if I like her more.... I'm never gonna let her go. So I decided to break their conversation and give my greetings to Jack. I didn't get her name.

I also tried to hit Jack with my nightmares. But since I saw the girl behind him I just let it swoosh in front of them. I wanted a little fun. Its been really long since I last tormented him.

But I met her again ,while I was watching a movie... she sat next to me. This was my chance to make my first impression. I got her name. It was Elsa.

And I also knew that she goes to Gifted High. That means she has powers too. I wonder what it is. I liked her more... even if she was just answering my questions. I don't know what is up with this girl but she just....she just captured me somehow...not making me want to leave the place she was in. I was about to ask her more questions but Jack decided to butt in and ruin my move. That asshole should know better.

Anyways, I couldn't sit next to Elsa as the seat next to her was also occupied. Oh, how great! I headed back home and started unpacking my things which I left unfinished. A few minutes later there was a knock on our door. I opened it and I saw her... Elsa. What was she doing here?

She looked surprised to see me and also looked a bit unhappy.

"Elsa? What a surprise! What are you doing here?" I asked her.

"Ahuh...um... we are your new neighbours..." she said a bit disappointedly.

Her mom came and and she brought cookies as a welcoming gift to the new neighbourhood. I asked them to come in and asked Elsa's mom to meet my mom. This was great! Elsa was my neighbour. I would have more chances of getting to know her better. We all sat in the living room. My mom brought out some juice. And we chatted...

"We just moved into this neighbourhood as well... about 3 months ago from New York." said Elsa's mom.

"Really? We moved her from London. I had a job offer and decided to stay here with my son. Which school does Elsa go to?" asked my mom.

"She goes to Gifted High. Ever heard of it?" said Elsa's mom secretly.

"Your daughter has powers too?! That's great! My son will be a new student there! He just got in! " said my mom excitedly.

"Your son has powers? Why.. that's great! Elsa and Pitch could get along together. Don't you think honey?" asked Elsa's mom to Elsa.

"Um...I...err...yeah. I think so." said Elsa hesitantly.

That sort of hurt my feelings. But that meant I was going to be with Elsa so it wasn't all bad.

"That's great!" said my mom.
