CHAPTER 6

Elsa's POV

I went with Jack for our next class. Then it hit me. We had to show what our powers were like in the next class. I was nervous , shaking like a leaf. I searched in my bag to find my gloves... I put it on shaking, knowing I would breakout at any point now. But I had just saved myself and others from destruction.

I could see Jack look at me confused and worried about my behaviour. He was about to ask me something but we reached our class outside and started to get prepared.

The teacher introduced himself " Good afternoon class! My name is Mr. Linton , today all of you are to show what your powers are like and what you can do with it, and see how good you are at controlling them. Okay , let's begin. " he said.

My heart was pounding I couldn't control my powers as well as the others as I watched them show off their powers while Mr. Linton was taking notes.

I was so nervous that even my gloves started to get frost over them. I rubbed them off, covering my hands.

" Up next, Jack Frost. Where are you Jack? " said Mr. Linton.

Jack went up and created snow. He could make some beautiful patterns on objects, make his creation come to life only for a moment as he had to control them sort of like a puppet, and he could even fly! He was great at controlling his powers. After he was done everyone applauded.

Jack was done and came up to me " Don't worry. You'll do great. Just let it go and everything will be alright. " he said.

" Up next is... Elsa Arendelle. Elsa? " said Mr. Linton.

" Go on, don't worry. I'll be there if you get into any trouble. " Jack said smiling.

I felt a bit at ease after what Jack said. " Thank you... " I said nervously.

I went up, I took off my gloves and placed them at the table near Mr. Linton. I think he saw how nervous I was. " Don't worry Elsa. We are all here to learn , it doesn't matter if you make a mistake. We are going to help you improve your powers. " said Mr. Linton.

Then I felt more at ease.. I thought of the words Jack said to me 'Just let it go '. I looked at him and he gave me a look ... as if telling me to be confident.

Then I started. I started creating snow, made a snowman... and guess what ? He came to life! I built a sculpture out of ice. Then I remembered about the incident that happened to my sister. I was in a daze for a second and lost control... as I hit the ground with my powers a whole lot of spikes of ice came out.

I was shocked! I could have killed someone if they were just a few more steps closer to me. Jack came running to me. Comforting me, but I didn't listen and quickly put on my gloves.

" Elsa your powers are powerful, quite amazing. But you must learn to control them better. Why don't you let Jack help you in weekends or whenever you're free? You have similar... almost same powers. He could give you some points." said Mr. Linton. I nodded and took his advice , Jack agreed as well.

I didn't want to stay at school after that incident, so I decided to head home. As I turned around to get out, all the other students looked scared and made way for me. ' Aargh... why did I have to breakout now.. in front of everyone? ' I thought to myself, running leaving Jack behind and losing him in the crowd.

Then something like a twig touched me. I turned around... didn't see anyone then I looked down only to see the snowman I built.

" Hi , I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs! " said Olaf. He was just like the one Anna and I made as kids.

" Hi Olaf... I'm sorry ,I have to go. " I said.

"That's okay! I'll come with you! " said Olaf.

" No ,Olaf. You don't understand. People would freak out if they saw you... normal people without powers. " I said.

" Then where will I stay? " Olaf said... a bit sad.

" I don't know, Olaf. Maybe I could ask one of my teachers to keep you here? " I said feeling pity for Olaf. I really wanted him to come along with me as well.

" Nope. No can do. I want to stay with you! I'll melt here. Who would look after me? " said Olaf.

" You're right. You would melt. " I said. Then I made him a tiny little cloud that would snow and keep him cool, it was over his head and would follow him everywhere , so that he wouldn't melt.

" There now you won't melt ever again. Since I can't keep you, how about you stay here? I'll meet you everyday. You could wait for me near the school gate and we could hang out. How bout that? " I said.

" Thank you! I really do want to stay with you. But if it's a real problem I'll stay here. No worries! I'm going to meet you anyways! " said Olaf.

" That's a good snowman. " I said laughing.

I went to Mr. Linton to get permission for Olaf to stay. Mr. Linton said it was fine and the school had many of the workers for the students like how Tooth and North had workers. But he said that Olaf was the first one.. created by a student. I smiled happy about what I could do. Olaf stayed back. I thanked Mr. Linton and started to go home when...

" Hey Elsa! Elsa! Wait up! Where were you? I've been worried sick! I kept on searching for you! " I turned around to see who it was. It was Jack.

I ignored him and went my way.

" Elsa! Where are you going?? " said Jack.

" Home. " I said coldly to him.

" I'm going home too. " he said gasping for air , tired from chasing me.

" Where do you live? " he asked , but I didn't answer.

I went my way. He was behind me.

I could see he was following me... I had almost reached home. " Would you stop following me!? Go to your home! " I snapped at him.

He didn't look surprised that I snapped at him. He just said " Who said I was following you? I live over there . House 638. And by the looks of it, your house is 639. Which means we're neighbours. How cool is that? ".

" Not cool at all. " I said , as I slammed the door, leaving him speechless.

And I went straight to my bedroom took off my gloves and covered my room in snow and frost thinking of the incident at school and what happened to Anna. I cried myself to sleep over my inability to control and not hurt people.
