BANG! BANG! I shot out of bed and reached for my glasses and knife.
The crisp morning air bit at my skin as I walked off the marble porch.
The grass felt wet and cold.
I looked around for the personage who had knocked on the door.
Then and ear-splitting crash came from the forest.
The wind seemed to whistle an eerie tune as I neared the forest.
Soon I was well away from the cabins but still far from the forest.
Suddenly, I heard a desperate cry for help.
A staggering figure ran to me from the forest.
It was running at top speed towards me.
A cold hand of fear clutched around my heart. I backed away slowly, then burst into a run.
I was no match for the figure it soon caught up and toppled over me.
I hope opened my mouth to scream, untill I saw who the figure
was.
It was my other cabin leader. His blond hair was tangled and
matted with dirt and blood.
His wild eyes glanced everywhere in fear. I stood up.
And then noticed the knife sticking out from his side.
He quickly put up his hands on my face.
" She's coming!" he whispered,
" He's with her! He wants to kill you! She wants to kill all! Run! Nowhere is safe now!"
Then his hand went slack, and his body crumpled to the ground.
"HELP!" I screamed, " SOMEONE! PLEASE HELP ME! HELP HIM!"
As tears streamed down my face, I pushed his chest and tried CPR.
But it was too late.
He was Dead.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I stared at the sky high Orange flames. I hoped to never see a burnt burial on a person.
Normally they burnt a silk sheet with their name on it ( because you don't have the body normally).
This time, there was a body underneath.
Tears stung my eyes. I tried to hold them back, but seeing someone who was walking around just the other day, now dead, is scary. I didn't even know him.
I didn't even know his name.Eventually, I gave up, and big, hot tears streamed down my face.
Soon every one had left. I was the last one. I stared at the deep red embers.
Thinking about what he had said.
'She is coming!'
That was probably Arachne.
'He wants to kill me.'
Who's 'He'.My mind suddenly went blank. I couldn't think of anything else. I tried slapping my face, but of course that didn't work.
Then Mason set his hand on my shoulder. I turned my blotchy red face towards him.
He smiled sadly at me and engulfed me in a huge. My eyes were wide with surprise, as I patted his back.
"Poor guy." I thought, "He probably needs the support. We are siblings after all." He let go and looked down.
" Come on. " I whispered, " A full stomach should help." We sprinted to the pavilion with the last light of day, still over the fire.

The heavy set van pulled away from Camp Half-Blood hill. I stared at the hill unroll I lost sight of it. Audrey stared much longer. After what seemed like forever, I suddenly blurted, "What's Charm-speak?".
Color flushed towards my cheeks untill I was beet red. This...gift of hers stemmed to be a private matter. She glanced at the front, where Mason was and dropped her voice. " It enables me to persuade others to do what I please. It is a curse."
The light from her eyes were gone. She seemed reluctant to add more.
So there we sat.
Waiting for the unknown.
