Chapter 49: Finally Noticed

Abby/Andy's POV

"Cypher."I immediately breakfree from Clyde's embrace as soon as our eyes met. Something about me isn't right.

I gave my best to give him assurance that everything's fine just so he wouldn't be worried..or at least if he would?Gusto kong mag-explain pero hindi dito ang tamang lugar at hindi rin ito ang tamang oras. I was about to ask for some privacy but the beeping sound coming from that thing he's holding distracted me.

"Cypher..what's that?"I asked in curiosity.

"My heartbeat."I can barely hear what he said, he just sounds so weak.

Itatanong ko pa sana kung okay lang ba siya o ano pero bigla na lang siyang napasandal sakin at bumagsak.Nasalo ko siya pero hindi ko naman siya kaya, agad na tumakbo papunta samin sina Nikki.

We called the ambulance but I can't make myself accompany Lady. I have this fear in ambulance cars dahil naalala ko yung nangyari sa parents ko. It was a traumatizing experience for me.

Sinamahan nila Quinn at Ashton si Lady para alalayan. Sina Jake naman kinuha yung sasakyan niya para sumunod. We're all panicking and it's like our minds went blank.At first, hindi naman talaga ako nagpanic, it's just that they were all over the place and Lady's literally bawling as if Cypher's in the brink of dying!

"I need to go with them."pasunod na sana ako kanila Jake pero hinawakan ako ni Clyde. I looked at him in total curiosity. Wait..what's he doing?

"He's fine. He'll be fine."he said as if trying to stop me.Shit!He's calm as fuck!

That made the inner monster in me come out.

"HE'S NOT FINE, CLYDE!DID YOU SEE HIS FACE?!HE IS FUCKING PALE AND WEAK!HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT AND BE THIS CALM?!"well..the time bomb has been triggered.

I'm the type of person who rarely curse..and it only happens when I'm so pissed about something..and this time it's 'someone'.

"This isn't the first time this happened to him and just because I'm calm doesn't mean I care any less.Do you think panicking will help?"

Is he even a person?How could he be this emotionless?

Magsasalita pa sana ako pero hinawakan niya na ako sa kamay at sinama para kuhanin yung sasakyan niya.

None of us dared to speak. There's this eerie feeling inside the car that's suffocating me. The last time I felt this nervous is when my parents were rushed into the ER with blood all over their clothes.

We arrived the hospital much faster than I expected because Clyde went on full speed. I didn't even realized we're that fast because of the nervousness that's making my mind blank.

Nasa ER si Cypher and still Lady is crying like a 5 year-old on Jake's shoulder. I saw the doctor and nurses getting his vital signs and injecting something on his arm. The whole scenario just made me anxious even more.

"Nasan na siya?"halos hinihingal pa si Erin nang dumating sa ospital. She unintentionally even wore a different pair of shoes, shows that she's in a hurry.

"He's fine now..He just need some rest."para kaming nabunutan ng tinik sa sinabi ni Ashton matapos niyang kausapin ang doktor.

We waited until he was transferred in a private room.His parents even came as soon as they heard what happened..hindi ko alam pero nakita ko ring pinagagalitan nila yung doktor na matandang umasikaso kay Cypher sa ER. Well..I can tell that he do take after his Dad..they're both intimidating and scary. While, Lady took after their Mom since their voices are much alike and they do cry in the same tone.
