We ate at Denny's. I enjoyed that. I know exactly what you're thinking, Grey took me to Denny's and not some expensive brunch place. He really wanted to but I convinced him to Denny's. I was laughing at that.
"Can you stop laughing?" he said annoyed. I was laughing by the fact that he has never been to Denny's.
"How can I? That's funny." I said. He rolled his eyes and continues to drive back to my place. And I was surprised that he accepted. I did beg for it, no one needs to spend 100$ for a Eggs Benedict. It was a pretty far drive from Grey's family's cabin to my place. It didn't seem that far when we went from school. I looked at the controls.
"Can this car drive itself right?" I ask. He nods. I remembered something when I first visited him at his house. He is ticklish. I smiled at him deviously. He programmed the car and stared at me. I lifted two fingers with both hands and showed him. He must have forgot. I poked him and he giggled. I poked him at 100 miles per hour. Once I was done my fingers were steaming.
"I forgot you knew I was ticklish." He said out of breath. I chuckled.
"Yeah. I also remember about your aura reading yet you can't read into if I want to or not." I said. He touched his heart looking pained jokingly. I also didn't forget about silver. But I don't really focus on his necklace much. I almost forgot it too. But I know almost everything about him. I look at him and I just love him, so much. He glanced at me and smirked.
"Yes, I know. I am very good locking." He said. I kissed him on the cheek. But did I know any of this before anyone else.
"Hey Grey, did you know you know everything about me than anyone else?" I said. He smiled wide.
"I didn't, and the same for me. I never told anyone about silver, my ability, the reason that I left my last school." He listed. I smiled. He grabbed my hand and interlocked it with his. Then he kissed the back of my hand. I kissed the back of his too. He looked at me.
"But more importantly, I have never felt like this with anyone." He finished. I chuckled. I rolled my eyes.
"Seriously!" he said raising his voice. I believed him.
"The funniest thing, is how we met." I said. He laughed.
"Yeah, I saved you from that touch when crossing the street." He said. I remembered that. Best and most fearful moment of my life. But it made me blush of what I thought to him when I met him. He knew I was red. Because he tugged on my hand.
"Why you embarrassed? Tell me, I promise I won't laugh." He said. I trust him, but do I trust him enough to let me know what my first thought of him was?
"Okay, don't laugh. I thought you were my guardian angel. When you saved me, you were beautiful. I was surprised you wanted to save my ugly self." I said. He programmed the car again to drive itself. He grabbed my face and looked at me. Those hypnotizing eyes. He also remembered my weakness.
"When I saw you, I instantly fell in love. I saw a cute girl crossing the street in danger, my chance to be the hero. And maybe be something more than her hero. My body moved itself. But I haven't ever done that to anyone. I saw you, then the truck and then the magic." He said. He never looked away from my eyes.
"Then once I saw you at school, I was nervous, but mostly excited to have you. Then you following me was my chance to impress." He said. He knew I was following him. How embarrassing. I looked away but he moved it back to him.
"And when a girl confessed to me, it was my chance to prove myself that I liked you, only you. But then you ran away I didn't think, I would hurt you. But then I chased you and when you tripped. It was once again to be your hero." He said. I never thought of his side of the story this way.
"Yeah, and I know the rest." I said. He smiled.
"Yeah, then there I was spilling my secrets easily. I have to keep my mouth shut around you because everything spills. I can't keep a secret around you." He said. My heart was racing.
"I love you more than anything." He said. I was starting to cry.
"I love you more than absolutely anything." I said. He pulled in to kiss me. I know his first impression of me. I know his feelings when I was confused with mine at the time. I know more than anyone else.
"Oh and we are home." He said.
"You are my home." I said. I got out of the car and walked to his window. He rolled it down. I kissed him again.
"Love you." He said.
"Love you too." I repeated. He drove away. Grey, the boy that changed my life.
