Violet opens the door and unbuckled the straps around Lilly's arms and legs. This time, Lilly didn't throw her arms in the air. She just sat there quietly looking at her mother while giggling faintly. "Are you ready to play with your friends? I think I see them through the door." Violet says. Violet looks at the daycare center and smiles when she sees her best friend Ashley. Violet starts to wave her arms up high at Ashley to get her attention. Ashley doesn't notice. This time, Violet waves her arms even more higher and starts to call Ashley's name. "Ashley!"
Lilly starts to tap Violet's shoulder gently to get her attention. "Oh right! Sorry sweetie. Here, let me get you out of here." Violet then finishes taking Lilly out of her car seat. She holds Lilly over her shoulder and has a bag strapped over her other shoulder. The bag is full of Lilly's toys and diapers. Violet locks the car door and walks across the parking lot into the daycare. As Violet enters the room, Children are running around the hallways and are playing with other toys. Some are screaming and laughing. Violet lets Lilly down out of her arms, and onto the soft carpet. Lilly crawls over to another girl who is wearing a pink shirt and white shorts. The little girl has blonde hair. As Lilly crawls over there Violet yells out: "I love you, I'll see you later!"
Lilly crawls over to the blonde haired girl and starts to move her hips and her arms; dancing to the music. Lilly crawls with the blonde girl over to the play pen.
Violet looks away and looks at Ashley who is at the counter talking to a young women. Violet gently taps Ashley's shoulder. Ashley turns around. When Ashley turns around to see Violet smiling her face glistens and she starts laughing. "There you are! I was wondering when you would show up. What took so long?" Ashley asks. "Yeah, sorry I'm late. Lilly was refusing to let me buckle her in her car seat. So, it took a little longer." Violet says frustrated. "Well, I'm glad you're here now." Ashley says with a smile of relief.
"Me too. I'm really happy that I'm here."
