As Violet carelessly sits Lilly in her car seat, Lilly starts screaming: " Daddy! Daddy! "
"You'll see Daddy later. Right now, we need to get you to daycare. I heard there's going to be finger painting!"Lilly then hushes and starts to giggle again.Violet then buckles Lilly's arms in. But like always, Lilly resists. Lilly starts to kick her feet and swing her arms. She swings her arms so hard that she accidently hits Violet in the face.
Everything's silent.
Violet's face gets all tense as Lilly's face starts to get red enough that it looks like she's going to cry. "Lilly don't hit me! When I buckle you in you have to let me get your arms and feet! It's for safety, OK? Just please let me do my job!" Lilly's face gets even more red. She looks really upset. "Oh no. I'm sorry for yelling at you. I shouldn't have done that. Please, just don't do it next time." Violet says frustrated.
Lilly nods her head and starts to wipe her eyes. Violet closes the door and gets in the drivers seat. Violet then goes digging in her purse to find something. She pulls out a case and opens it. It's glasses. They're big black glasses with a design on the side. It looks like a flower. Violet finally finds her keys at the bottom of her purse.
Violet then drives out of the driveway and through the neighborhood. As Violet drives through the neighborhood, the white and gray modern houses catch Lilly's eye. Lilly raises her hand and points at one specific white house. The light reflects from the sun to make the house look really shiny and beautiful.
As Violet drives through the neighborhood with tall beautiful trees on both sides of the street and beautiful green gardens that give the houses a beautiful burst of happiness, the drive seems almost peaceful until Lilly blurts out-
"RING!" Lilly shouts at the top of her lungs. With Lilly still pointing out the window, at the white house, Violet stops the car and pulls over."What did you say Lilly?" Violet asks.Violet turns back around to see Lilly still pointing out the window. When Lilly sees her mother stare at her she starts to giggle as she looks at her mother.
"Eh. It's probably nothing. You probably got it from the Daycare; Where they show you guys those little videos on food and sports and stuff." Lilly giggles as Violet turns back to the road, and starts driving. Down the skinny road next to the modern white and gray house with beautiful white trim and large windows.
Lilly then whispers and points out the window again at a white house:
"Ring."
