WTF?!

Sorry it took me so long to post another chapter, writer's block sucks. I hope you enjoy the chapter and please comment and vote. =))

CONNOR POV:

I didn’t want to say that to him the way I did but I was still smarting from him throwing my “crush” in my face the way he did this afternoon.

“Where do you want to go?” Embry asked with a smile. More like a smirk. He looks like he just won the game and the prize is me.

I really don’t want to be alone with Embry at all. He’s a fucking jerk and a player but I need to get Kegan off my mind. So instead of saying no I want to go home and get away from your crazy ass, I say:

“There’s an ice cream parlor just a block away, we can go there.” I say reluctantly.

As we enter the shop Embry goes off to order and I find us a table. I’m not too sure about this. Kegan is going to hate me now but I really do have to rid myself of this crush. He’s my brother for God’s sake! Before I get into a much heated argument with myself Embry sits down across from me.

“Want to explain to me about what happened at the party? What did you mean by “It’s time to get over my little crush”?” He asked slightly confused.

I didn’t know what to say to him. I didn’t want him or anyone knowing about my crush on Kegan. What would people think if they found out that I was in love with my own brother? In love? When did I go from having a crush to being in love with Kegan? It seems as if these feelings for Kegan always seem to sneak up on me without my knowledge or consent.

“Kegan just like to tease me. I had a crush on him when I was little but that faded away once I hit middle school.” I said with a shrug. “I guess I just said that to get back at him from embarrassing me in front of you.”

“Oh, okay. If you don’t have a crush on Kegan, who do you like?” Embry asked as he looked into my eyes. Gosh, he has the most beautiful eyes. Like I can just stare at them all night.

“Are you okay, Connor?” he asked with a smile. It’s like he knew what kind of effect he has on me. That’s so evil!!

“I don’t mind if you ask. I have a crush on...hmm...Caleb Knightly.” I say with a smirk. Take that you big jerk.

“You mean Caleb Knightly from English class? I shall let him know seeing as he’s my cousin and everything.” Embry grabs his cell phone and precedes to text someone.

“What are you doing? Who are you texting?” I ask and I lean over to take a look.

“I’m texting Caleb and letting him know of your crush. I cannot stand in the way of true love.” Embry scoots away from me and continues to text.

“OMG!! You cannot do that!! What will he think of me?” I shout. Everyone is looking over at us but I could care less. He’s about to tell Caleb Knightly, the biggest jerk in school that I like him. I’m going to get my ass handed to me on Monday.

“I’m pretty sure that he will think you are lovely.” Embry starts laughing and falls out of the booth.

I growl as I scoot across the seat to get out to kick him. Before I can even reach where he is at he’s off running almost knocking over a waitress.

I through down money to cover our ice cream and chase after him. When I catch him I’m kicking his ass and smashing his phone to pieces. Oh yeah, almost gaining on him. He looks back and the expression on his face is priceless. I guess he didn’t think that I can run that fast. He might be on the football team but I’m on track which means his ass is mine.

I jumped and landed on his back, yelling like an idiot. He keeps running!! OMG!! I’m on his flipping back and he’s still running. It’s like he doesn’t even know that he has a passenger. This guy is built. Everyone in the parking lot is staring at us. Me being on his back and him running around in circles screaming at me to let go. At this point I’m laughing my ass off.

He started to laugh and gave me a piggy back ride back to the car.

“Doesn’t matter what you do, Mr. Collins, because I’ve already sent the text.” He laughed and dropped me in the passenger seat.

“Great.” I mumble. Clicking the seatbelt, I turn to look at him with the best glare I have.

He sits in the driver seat and clicks his seatbelt as well. He turns to look at me with an evil smile on his face. He’s up to something and whatever he’s up to I don’t want any part of it.

“The only way to fix this is to go on another date with me.”

“Go on another date with you? Embry this wasn’t a date to begin with.” I laugh. I really can’t stay mad at him for too long. There is just something childlike about him that I like.

Embry just grins at me and holds up his phone. I see the message he was typing to Caleb but I see that he hasn’t sent it yet. I sigh and try to give him my best glare.

“Fine, you can have it your way then.” I pout.

“Great!” He leans in and kisses me. Not just a peck but not a full blown kiss either. More like pressing his lips against mine and sucking my bottom lip in. I find this highly arousing.

He pulls away, breathing kind of heavy. “Let’s get you home.”

As we pull up to the house I see that the light in the living room is still on. I know for a fact that it’s Kegan due to the fact that our parents are out of town for the week. I turn to look at Embry but he’s looking towards the living room window. I guess he’s thinking the same thing I’m thinking. Kegan is going to kill me for disobeying him.

“You don’t have to walk me to my door, you do know that don’t you?”

“I know that but I want to.” He says while opening up the car door. I put my hand out and grab his arm.

“I know that you are brave. You don’t  have to prove it to me. I much rather you be all in one piece when we go on our date.” I lean in and kiss him on his cheek. I get out of the car and make my way to the door. I wave at him to let him know that I’m okay and he pulls out of the drive.

“It’s about time you come home.” I turn around only to come face to face with a very upset Kegan.

“I was with Embry, you knew that.” I walk past him or at least I tried to. He grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him.

“I don’t like the fact that Embry is messing around with my innocent little brother.” He says with a smirk.

“Who said I was innocent?” I pulled my arm trying to break his hold but to no avail.

“So, you’re not so innocent, huh? So, you’re easy enough to lay the school’s quarter back.” He looks me up and down in disgust.

“Fuck you.” I spat.

“With pleasure.” He presses his lips against mine roughly. Prying my lips apart with his tongue. He grabs my ass and as I gasp he shoves his tongue in my mouth.

I moan, hell, I can’t help it. I’ve been in love with this guy since forever. I know that what he is doing is fucked up but damn if it isn’t turning me on. Just as I start to kiss him back, I hear someone speaking.

“Is everything okay in there, Kegan?” Shit, Ally is here. Sounds like her voice is coming from the kitchen and is coming closer.

I shove away from Kegan and wipe my mouth off with the back of my hand. “I will not be your play thing, Kegan.” I climb the stairs to go to my room when I hear very faintly.

“You’re much more than that. Much more.”

What the hell does he mean by that?
