It's been 10 years since the merboy, Jin stayed inside the castle. From time to time, Namjoon helped him learn how to speak and read. Also, Namjoon started to develop feelings for Jin because everytime Jin grows, day by day, he's getting even more handsome. Jin's jawline sharpened; his shoulders broaden and wide; and his voice getting deeper, his tail grew longer and even more beautiful.
The royal family still kept Jin in secret. The people in Royaume still held their grudge against the merpeople. The merpeople drowned sailors everyday without a trace making the families cried. The Kim Family were still finding a solution to the problem.
Namjoon was heading back to his room from reading books in the library. He went inside and flopped down on his king sized bed, letting out a groan. He was about to close his eyes but then, he heard a beautiful male voice in the bathroom. Namjoon smiled at the sweet melody and decided to visit his mermaid crush.
He opened the bathroom door silently without the merman knowing and closing it quietly. He stood against the wall with a smile of adoration on his face and his arms crossed, enjoying seeing the merman singing.
Once the merman finished singing, Namjoon clapped and the merman gasped, looking behind him to see him.
"How much did you hear it?" Jin asked still in shock, a blush crept on his face, feeling embarrassed. Namjoon laughed and walked on the steps, sitting down it, putting his arm on the tub. "Until you finished it." He answered with a smirk, making the merman looked down to hide his blush. Namjoon laughed again. "Stop laughing!" He whined. "I can't help it, you're just too cute for your own good." Namjoon flirted Jin. He just loved to flirt and tease Jin, just to see his cute blush face because he finds it amusing. Jin covered his face with his hands and dipped down in the water to cover half of his face. Namjoon chuckled at the sight of embarrassed Jin.
Namjoon reached his hand to his pink hair and stroked it, making Jin come out of the water and leaned against the tub, enjoying the feeling of stroking his hair with a smile on his face. (I mean who wouldn't?)
"So, how's your day?" Jin asked, opening his eyes to look at Namjoon. The human prince sighed, still stroking his hair. "I was just in the library, reading books just to escape from reality." Namjoon answered and Jin giggled. "Same old you, Joonie. You really love reading books." He stated. "I'll let you read one and you will know how I feel." Jin nodded.
"I hope my reading skills will improve." Jin giggled. "After 10 years of teaching you everything? I know you will do it well." Namjoon said, stroking to his cheek from his hair.
Namjoon wanted to confess to the merman so bad.
