Chapter 8
Ohm got up and placed the bowl in the sink. Tempting to just leave it there he reluctantly washed the dishes he just used. He went back down on the couch and stared up at the ceiling. He knows he shouldn't be here. He knows that he should have just minded his own business and let Bryce live his own life. It's only hurting him more since he knows he still has feelings for the blonde man.
He had a year and a half to get over the man he loved. But just wherever he looked, whoever he tried to date, they always seemed to look like Bryce. He was hopelessly in love with him that it hurt him to know he lost something that could have been special. Why was he such an idiot and accepted the bet? Why did he think he could get away with this and still be friends with Bryce in the end? Why is he so stupid.
He looked down and saw one of the cats walk towards him. The cat was black with white a white bottom half. The other one came along which was a mocha brown with black stripes. They both looked towards Ohm and meowed. Ohm sighs knowing they're probably hungry. He gets up and goes to the kitchen and finds some cat food that was on the shelves.
"He needs to go shopping soon," he mutters putting the cat food and two plastic plates.
He placed the food on the floor and the cats meowed in appreciation. At least that what he thinks they did. Ohm decided to check on Bryce to see if he was up. He heard Bryce's voice talking in a different room so he left him be. He slowly crept up to the bedroom and saw that the twins were sleeping. He walked back out and went to the kitchen once again. He then decided to make Bryce some breakfast so he quickly assembled a bowl of cereal. Once it was done he picked up the bowl and made his way towards the office.
Knocking on the door there was a slight shuffle and Ohm was greeted with a tired looking Bryce.
"You're still here why," Bryce asked.
"Of course I am Delirious asked me to stay and until he tells me to go then I'll go," Ohm replied holding out the bowl of cereal.
"I don't get you," Bryce muttered taking the bowl from Ohm.
"I'll be back. I'm going to get groceries can I take your car," Ohm said and Bryce sighs.
"Alright don't crash the car, the keys are on the hook near the door," Bryce said closing the door.
Ohm smiled glad to know that Bryce doesn't completely hate him.
Oof the last time I updated this was back in January. I'm sorry I haven't been in the mood to write. I've been in such a funk that it's not going away. I'll try to get back into things hopefully I won't go in hiatus again any time soon
With lots of love 💛
