When they got to Grants Pass, Oregon, it was a sunny day. There were kids, riding their bikes, in the street and people wandering into diners in groups.
"Wow, I expecting more Zombieland, led Pleasantville," Dean said.
"Well just because it looks quiet doesn't mean it is," Bobby said.
"So what now," Sam asked.
"I need a computer," Bobby replied. The five of them walked over to Ervin's Diner which was directly in front of them. They sat down at a table with Sam, Dean, and Bobby on one side and Faith and Cass on the other side. Everyone had ordered something to eat except for Cass. Even Faith had ordered coffee.
"It's one of the few things that I can still eat," she defended.
"All right, I finally got the police database, no thanks to this. I asked for a computer," Bobby said motioning to the iPad Sam had given him.
"It is a computer," Sam defended.
"No, a computer has buttons!"
"Anything yet," Faith asked.
"Not really, just nickel and dime stuff, nothing weird," Bobby answered.
"I'll search the town, give me a moment," Cass offered. The rest of them continued to eat, but noticed something was off.
"Cass we can still see you," Dean said.
Castiel looked around in confusion, "Yeah I'm still here."
"You don't have to wait on us," Sam said.
"Something's wrong, I'm blocked...I'm powerless."
"You're joking," Dean exclaimed.
"Something in this town is affecting me, I assume its Eve," Cass said.
"So wait, mom's making you limp?" Dean asked.
"Figuratively, yes," Cass answered.
"How," Sam asked.
"I don't know, but she is."
"Well great, without your power, you're basically a baby in a trench coat," Dean yelled. Cass then squinted his eyes and shook his head. He then stared out the window without saying another word. Dean looked to Faith who wore an angry expression.
"I think you hurt his feelings," Sam said.
"I'll search the town," Faith said. Then she was gone.
"What the hell," Bobby said.
Cass turned his head to find his fiancé gone, "Where the..." While Faith was gone, Dean watched a man with his two sons walk out of the diner. As they were walking out, the father held a tight grip on his youngest son's wrist and turned to look at him.
"If you don't do what I tell you, we are not going to that game," the father yelled at the boy. The oldest son walked over behind his brother and patted his shoulder. The father continued out of the diner, his son's wrist still in his grip. This made Dean angry; no father should treat his child like that. Suddenly, she appeared back in her chair with a worried look on her face.
"How the hell did you do that," Dean asked.
"No time to explain! You're not going to believe who Eve is," Faith said.
"Do you need anything else," their waitress suddenly asked.
"No, I think we're good, thanks," Dean answered. As she walked away, Faith motioned with her head towards the waitress. Sam, Dean, and Bobby looked towards their waitress and then back at Faith.
