Prologue

My name is Tayja. I'm 18 years old and I'm a senior in high school. This is my life..

I've been through so much. Raped by my father and beaten on by my mother. I never done anything to them for them to ever take their anger out on me. Teachers would ask me what happened to me, and I'd lie. If I told I feared the worse..... I loved my parents although they put me threw alot. My father abused me at night, while my mother abused me in the evenings when I got home from school when my father wasn't home.

My mother didn't know my father raped me and my father didn't know that my mom beat on me. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place.

My mother would always tell me that I was no good while my father told me that I done a whole lot of good.

I never allowed myself to get close to anyone except my best friend Simone. Boys would always step to me and try to talk to me but I would always shut them down. My mother and father were the ones to blame. Story of my life....

Everything got worse when my father got me pregnant, my mother called me a slut and told me to get rid of it. My father knew that he was the father but he was more than grateful when we had to go to the clinic for me to get an abortion.

I was sick of what my father and mother put me through almost every night&day. I had to get out of there, And FAST!!! But where was I going to go?!
