Why Me?

What a long day and the day haven't even began yet. I got up and went to the bathroom in our cold and run down apartment. Just like every other morning nothing is different, my mama and daddy were fussing and raising hell. I didn't bother to pay any attention to them.

I hopped in the shower to start my daily routine.

Fifteen minutes later I got out of the shower to get ready so I could leave. It was 7:05 and the bus would be at the bus stop at 7:20.I ran to my room and slipped on a pair jeans and a basic T-shirt and my beat up Nike's that I had since last year. Then I was out the door.

I was walking alone to the bus stop until Simone caught up with me.

"Wassup girl."

"Hey." I said dryly.

"What's wrong?" Simone asked

"The same shit, my parents. I'm ready to just be out of there."

"You can come stay with me."

"I don't wanna be a bother." I said "And they'd just drag me back home."

"Just think about it, plus your 18 now so your basically grown."

We walked to the bus stop in silence. I was still thinking about what Simone told me. Was that a good idea? What if it wasn't success and they'd both just abuse me even more.

This was just too overwhelming, I'd have to think about this later. Before I knew it the bus pulled up and we got on then we were off to school. *

I was on my final classes of the day and me and Simone just sat in the corner talking with her boyfriend SLIM and his friend/boss GHOST. Then my mind began to wonder......oh boy me and my thoughts!!
