All weekend I was thinking about the wonderful kiss. Even though it was only a few seconds, it was wonderful. Also, it was my first kiss!
***Zach's pov******
*AT SCHOOL*
I see Ali approaching me. Her hair has soft waves and it's in a half-up. She is wearing a flowy dress with a belt just above her waistline. And she looks terrific. And all I can think about is the wonderful kiss last Friday when I look at her.
When she sees me she says"hey!"
I respond "hello"
"What's up with you.?" She says cocking her head
"Nothing much...u?" I respond
She smiles knowingly"just the usual"
"Cool" I say
"So I was going to go to panera during lunch, wanna come?" I ask
Her face turns BRIGHT red. She looks stunned, but in a good way.... At least I think. But she quickly recovers and stutters" um... Umm.... Yeah! I would lovvveeeee to."
"Awesome", I reply. Smile and wave bye, she shyly waves back.
******ali's pov*******
I would tell my friends the exciting news in class, but, as I said before, Zach is in every single one of my classes. But, luckily I can catch Ava in the hall right before lunch.
I drag her to the side of the hall
"Guess what? I asked Ava
Ava responded "What?!"
"Zach asked me if I wanted to go to panera with him today during lunch!"
"Hold the phone. Are you serious?" She questions
I give her my serious face...
"O......M......G!!! That's so awesome. He coming so I just need to say one thing for advice. DONT BE AN IDIOT and just be yourself!" She squeals
She squeezes my shoulder and runs off.
***AT PANERA***
We both ordered coffee. The coffee was really hot still, but the cup felt cool. when Zach drank it, he was alarmed by the hotness and jerked. long story short, it spilled ALL over his pants. After this, he began shooting a rapid fire of quite...well... let's just say interesting words.
When he looked at me, his face was bright red and he looked deeply embarrassed.
"Oh, do you need help cleaning that up?" I exclaimed
Then, as he glanced at where it fell I suddenly felt awkward and mumbled never mind.
"I'm sorry this is so horrible." he said looking at me with those beautiful sparkling blue eyes.
All I could do is smile like an idiot and said "it's fine!"
He looked at me happily and said we should probably get back to school.
I have no idea how I got the courage to ask Zach one of the hottest guys in the school this, everyone's dreamguy. but these are my exact words,"hey, um.. so do u want to go to the movies or something this Friday after school?"
He got up and so did I he caught me by surprise and he laced his fingers behind my head and kissed me. It was just as wonderful as the first, but a bit longer.
We both smiled and I knew that was a yes.
