Gavin's Fault?

Gavin's POV

As soon as I got home I went strait to my room. I was not dealing with anyone. I can only describe my first day back at work as amazingly horrible. I can't help but blame myself for what happened with Michael. "Gavin" I heard Geoff yelling at me. "what, Geoff?" I felt like a child being annoyed with his parent for bothering him. I could hear the stairs creek under Geoff's feet. "Gavin what's wrong?" Geoff's voice wasn't getting louder but he was coming upstairs. I just ignored it. "nothing I don't wanna talk about it." now I really felt like Geoff's kid. "come on if you won't talk to me then at least come down." Geoff had stopped outside my door I could see the shadow of his feet. I let out a big sigh and stood knowing Geoff wouldn't stop till I came out. I made my way to the door and slowly turned the handle. "AH!" I screamed and stumbled back on to the floor. the person in the door did the same but falling back and down the stairs. "son of a bitch!" "RAY!" I could hear a mix of voices from down the stairs. I got up and ran down the stairs slipping on the way down and falling down on top of Ray. "bloody hell" I rubbed the back of my head. "you two are so dumb" I looked up and saw Geoff trying to hold back a laugh. "it was rays fault" I whined "oh no don't you blame this on me that was you who screamed" Ray said in defense. "Well you're the one who..." I was cut off by Geoff "alright ladies break it up" Geoff held out his hands for us to grab. "alright Gav go get like a weekends worth of clothes and what ever else you might need for the weekend."

"What for?" I questioned

"You're coming with me!" Ray said leaning up on a wall.

"What why?" I asked "because I said so. now go get your shit together" Geoff said pointing back upstairs. I grumbled and started walking back to my room quickly shoving my stuff in a bag. when I walked back down stairs I saw Geoff with his keys. "Bloody hell Ray you still don't drive?" I said walking out the door to the car. "nope" was all he said pushing me away and grabbing the passengers seat. I got in the back and Geoff started up the car pulling back up out of the driveway. he drove the opposite direction of rays house "did you move ray?" I asked. "huh? what, no I need to go somewhere real quick that's all" he stayed facing forward. the car ride was quiet. when we pulled up to apartments I knew where we were. we were here to get Michael. "I'll be right back" Ray said unbuckling his seat belt and getting out of the car. I watched him walk up to the door and disappear but only for a second before I heard a loud yell and saw what looked like a lamp fly out of the open door and then a frightened Ray and Michael came running out being chased by an angry Lindsay. "oh no" I said under my breath. when Michael and Ray got to the car they jumped inside and Michael threw a bag at me. "go Geoff go" Michael yelled Geoff started up the car and tried backing out as fast as he could but before he did Lindsay threw something small and shiny at the car. it hit the windshield and cracked it "son of a bitch Lindsay!" Geoff yelled "fuck sorry Geoff, tell Michael I never want to see him again" Lindsay yelled from where she stood. I turned to Michael expecting him to be upset but instead I saw him roll down his window flip her off and yell "good riddance bitch"

By that time Geoff was driving off and back to rays house. but I felt awful was this my fault. did Michael's marriage fail because of me? I didn't talk the whole ride to rays apartment I just sat there staring out the window. I could feel tears run down my face but I just faced away from everyone so they wouldn't see me. It was all my fault, I don't even know why I came back, I'm probably a burden on Geoff, Michael hates me now for ruining his life, and Ray most likely has some reason to hate me. great I have no friends and I'm stuck in America for a year because of stupid Dan. why did this happen to me why does my life have to be this way maybe it would be better if I just left and didn't tell anyone it's not like anyone would care about me anyway. right?
