His smile stretched further across his face once he realized that we were approaching them.
A wolf whistle escaped one of the guy's mouths. He stood next to the one that had spoken to me.
"Well I'm Zander. The dumbass to my right is Mason. And I guess the other guys don't really matter..." he added chuckling.
I had to admit, the way it rose from his throat was sexy, but I wouldn't give him the satisfaction of knowing.
The other guys other than Zander and Mason all glared at them and stepped towards us.
"Well actually, we do matter. Especially when it comes to the ladies..." He said, winking in Lenox's direction.
She gasped and Eileen tried to hold back a laugh.
Instead of reacting in a similar fashion I strutted towards the clueless boy that tried to drag the attention to himself.
"Soo...let me get this straight. You guys stand here and stare at the ladies that pass by, trying to get their attention. If I were you, I'd be embarrassed." With my own smirk I leaned into him and pushed him in the chest.
"I want names." I stated abruptly.
Pointing my finger I prompted each of them and repeated their names. Little did they know, I'm terrible with names.
"I know Zander and Mason." The boy who was named Mason Was a little taller than me and had black hair with light green eyes. The whole time he was checking out Eileen, but nodded his head when I said his name.
He better keep his hands to himself.
"Alright, Mr.BigMouth! Name?"
"Sam."
"Sam? Well Sam, how in the world are you wearing a long sleeve in the summer?!" Instead of waiting for reply I continued,"Nevermind, you?" I turned to a boy, yes a boy, about my height...and I'm short!...He wore Jordans...TYPICAL. But he wore it well with cargo shorts and a white vneck.
"Ethan."
"Let me get this straight you're mixed...as far as I can tell...but you have a white name?" I asked with my eyebrows raised.
Zander was once again smirking and Mason of course commented,"BURN!"
Ethan gave me a small smile and said,"Sweetheart, at least I'm not trying to make it a big deal. What else can that pretty mouth of yours do?"
I laughed and Lenox replied for me, making me laugh harder.
"Well sweetie, you'll never have the pleasure of finding out."
"Challenge accepted."
I scoffed at his answer and decided to ask the last, quietest guy in the bunch his name.
"Now you prettyboy, what is your name?"
"Me?"
He looked up at me and rubbed the back of his neck nervously.
"Umm...Ricardo."
"I like all your names, but your personalities just DON'T match. Sorry to bruise your egos."
I guess I was on a roll because the word vomit just wouldn't stop.
"I on the other hand, am named Angel. That's Lenox and Eileen." Pointing out my bestfriends behind me.
"Cool. Well are you guys interested in going to a party? It's a small get-together and seeing as you ladies aren't exactly busy, I was hoping you'd join us?"
Zander was trying to be smooth, but I knew there was a reason for his invitation. Although I knew this, I couldn't turn down the offer. The first party had been a bust and now with all my partners in crime (Lenox and Eileen) present, I was ready for a little fun. Even with a couple of strangers that happened to be five hot teenage guys.
"What do you girls say?" Mason asked.
"I don't..." began Eileen.
"Let's go have fun. A little party couldn't hurt." Lenox interrupted shrugging her shoulders.
"Where to?" I asked with a smirk only to find Zander already had one plastered across his face.
"A place not too far...not too far at all." And with the same stupid smirk, he lead the way.
We exited Downtown into a residential area where the party could been seen a few blocks away.
Speakers blaring.
Lights flashing.
Girls dancing.
Red cups galore.
And much more.
