Later that day after Eileen and I had finally gotten up from the couch and turned off Netflix, we got ready to go out to the mall.
There was a knocking on the door, but instead of hearing someone walking up to the door, I heard Lenox invite herself in.
"Hey Lenox!" I shouted from my room. I had just pulled on my distressed high waisted shorts and white tshirt to match my white converse. Eileen was wearing a loose tank and striped white and navy blue shorts with black vans.
As Lenox entered, she adjusted her bag that hung from her shoulder and I looked her over. She paired her american flag converse with her white high waisted shorts and white halter crop top.
"Angel!"
"Hold on guys, my dad is calling." I clambered down the steps and turned to my father expectantly.
"Hey I know you don't have a car, so do you want to use mine instead of waiting on Lenox's sister when you guys want to go home?"
I squealed in delight. I had my license, but I didn't have a car and I had been hoping to inherit my dad's Grand Cherokee Jeep.
"Thanks so much Dad!" I took the keys from him and called Lenox and Eileen to tell them we were leaving.
"Lenox, tell your sister she doesn't have to worry about being out choffer today!"
"Why not? Are we still going to the mall?" She knitted her eyebrows in confusion.
"Follow me outside! I have the keys to the Jeep!"
Lenox and Eileen ran outside with me bickering about who called shot gun first. Of course Lenox won. They were a little excited.
Upon arriving at the mall, Eileen told us who she had invited to come with us to meet the boys.
"Melanie and Erika are by JCPenney."
"Are they the only ones?" I asked.
"Yeah, I thought it would be good to have an even guy to girl ration. Five and five." Eileen responded.
I nodded and parked the car in the JCPenney parking lot. We exited the vehicle and adjusted our shades before crossing the parking lot to enter the shop.
"Hey guys!" greeted Melanie and Erika as we reached the double doors before the mall opened up.
"Hey! Ready to shop until we drop?" I asked with enthusiasm.
"Of course!" They responded eagerly.
We walk and talk for a little while talking about summer plans and how we hoped our next year of high school would go.
I texted Zander to see where they are and being typical teenage boys, they were near Victoria Secret waiting for us. So as a group, we began to shop in the direction of Victoria Secret until we made it to the store's front.
"Hey ladies,"greeted Mason with a smirk, eyeing Eileen,"ready to try on some bras and thongs for us."
"Nope!" I laughed with a grin.
"Umm..I think I'm just going to hang back out here." stammered Erika, a blush rising to her cheeks.
"Don't worry, I don't want to go inside either, I'll stay out here with you." Ricardo reassured her.
"Well you guys might not go inside, I will." Zander then turned to me and said,"Don't worry I'll help you pick out some stuff for me later babe." Rolling my eyes I disregarded his comment and turned back to the other girls.
We all looked at Erika and winked, wishing her luck with Ricardo who was bound to try and make a move.
Leaving them inside, we entered the store, following Zander, and were hit with the smell of rosy perfume and skimpy bras and undie sets.
