Chp. 10 | Closer?

School went smoothly and it was nice as I became closer with Jackson, along with Umji, Vernon and Taeyong.

Umji was nice and sweet girl and I definitely understood why Jimin would be attracted to her. She was the youngest among us, friends and she loves Disney princess. Honestly I don't mind if she does because I do too:)

Oh my God, Taeyong... I would be lying if I said he wasn't good looking. And just as Lisa said, his singing was beautiful. I felt like I was listening to angels or like it was the music of heaven. He can even write his own songs such as Yestoday and it's hella good. Legitimately blessed my ears.

Vernon is honestly the cutest rapper I have ever seen. When Taeyong was singing, Vernon started freestyle rapping which was empecible. I swear I saw others' jaw hanging open on the corner of my eyes. We really did not expect him to rap so well. He also told us how he wants to join the year-end talent competition during the graduation party. Apart from his talents, we found out that he is biracial as he's half American.

Soon we reached our respective houses.

I unlocked my door and was greeted by my mom, "Hi darling, how was your day at school?" My mom smiled as she spoke to me.

I slowly threw my bag to the couch and headed to the kitchen to fetch some water and reply back to my mom, "It was great and I made more friends called, Umji, Vernon, Jackson and Taeyong."

"Oo that's nice and how is Jimin?" She asked with a slight of concerned voice. "Uh he's fine too, we landed in the same class and he made friends with the others as well." I answered back.

I quenched my thirst and walked back to the couch to grab my bag. I walked back up to my room while informing mom that I'll be upstairs.

I entered my room and once again threw my bag to the side of my bed and layed down. I was so tired after everything, I fell asleep right after I closed my eyes.

Soon after I woke up at the knocking at my door. I rubbed my eyes and answered with hum. "Honey it's dinner time," my dad said outside if the door. Wait. It's dinner time? How long did I sleep? I looked at the clock seated on my side table. It read 8:04 p.m. I gasped knowing I slept for decades

'No wonder I woke up in a such a soft sound'

I quickly got up and went to the washroom to shower. I had a quick warm shower as I don't like my parents waiting for me.

I then went downstairs to see my parents eating, along with Jimin. I looked at my mom with a confused look. "Oh I invited him here since he can't really feed himself for the time being."

I nodded understanding the situation. I honestly have no idea how many times I mentally facepalmed myself to the seat. And as there are no seats except the seat next to Jimin, I had to sit there and let my heart beat uncontrollably.

As I began eating my mom's delicious food, I felt Jimin's eyes on me from the corner of my eyes.

I wanted to check if he was actually looking at me so I pretended to serve myself some salmon and took a small glance at him.

And yes he was staring at me but I wondered why?

(Jimin's pov)
After reaching my house which is few streets away from y/n's, I straight went to the toilet to shower.

After, I went to my fridge, finding nothing cause I ate everything before.

Well I didn't have a proper meal stored in the first place anyways, so I shouldn't expect much.

I just lazily walked towards the fruit bowl, grabbing an apple to eat.

I looked at surroundings. It felt so new, like it's a new life. I still couldn't believe how the moment I woke up I found a girl, y/n, staring at me so eagerly, how I got everything I need in a split second..just how did it all happen? I still feel like I just got out of the hospital bed.

I threw away the last bit of the apple and chewed on the bits left in my mouth while I walked to my room.

I felt like I could do some tidying inorder to keep it nice.

I started my work from the table where I placed my new laptop as well as my book shelf which didn't have books in it since it was all messed up.

After some good long hours, I not only finished tidying up my room, but the whole house. I was so exhausted.

But I couldn't rest, I had to go to the grocery store.

I got up from my sofa and went to my cupboard to get some clothes to wear outside but my eyes fell on a packet at the back of my cupboard. As soon as I picked it up, I realized what it was.

'y/n's gift.. I forgot to give it to her'

As I was about to go grab my phone, I got a call from 'y/n's mom'. I picked it up, being greeted by her.

-the phone call-

Y/n's mom:Hii, how have you been?

Jimin: I have been very well, Miss. How about you?

Y/n's mom: Oh don't call me Miss, call me mom and by the way, do you wanna come over for dinner?

Jimin: Sure mom, I didn't have much food anyways.

Y/n's mom: Hahaha great, see you soon.

-end of phone call-

I quickly chose my clothes to wear and wore it. Then I took my keys, phone and wallet with me and I didn't forget to take y/n's gift as well.

I went out of my building started walking towards their house.

After about 10 minutes, I reached and rang the bell. Soon it was opened by y/n's dad. He instructed me to sit down at the dining table and went upstairs as I placed y/n's gift on the table in front of the TV.

Mom placed the food on the table and it looked mouth-watering. Mom chortled at my reaction and passed me a plate and the utensils.

Dad soon came back downstairs, "I woke y/n up, she will be joining us in dinner in a bit." Mom and I, both nodded. We all begin eating as we waited for y/n.

After a couple of minutes, y/n looked startled when she came down. "Oh I invited him here since he can't really feed himself for the time being," Mom explained it for me.

She nodded and walked towards me to seat.

As she was eating, I was wondering who they are actually? Why are they helping me so much? Why y/n is so caring towards me?

I snapped out of my thoughts when y/n reached for the salmon. I quickly ate my food and took y/n's gift in my hands.

"Y/n-ah, remember when you were fangirling at the kpop store?" I asked her while she nodded rapidly. I could still see her tomato cheeks.

"Yea that day, I saw you fangirling at exo aisle so I bought you something," I handed her the gift and when I looked up, I saw her squealing at the EXO shirt. Her parents and I were just laughing.

"Wait," y/n said and ran upstairs with the gift.

She came back down with a Taeyang album and I was so happy that I couldn't help but hug her tightly.

I realized that I was suffocating her so I let her go. I took the album happily.

We both suddenly screamed," THANKS"

And this time we were all laughing together.
