Chp. 24 | Christmas

It was finally the day of the annual Christmas party and our last Christmas party in a school.

I got up pretty early from all the excitement I was feeling, I  then quickly fowarded with my skin care. Finishing it up, I came out of the bathroom and put on my makeup.

I wasn't quite into heavy make up so I just added some color of face and lips and I was ready to put on my clothes.

I had picked a baby pink sweater with a black skirt, matte black with smooth clothing to be exact. Then some fishnet stocking to go under my skirt. To match up with my outfit, I picked a tiny golden locket to place it on my neck and a pair of black platform boots with a matte finish.

I put on my outfit and stared into myself through the full body mirror placed in the corner of my room and questioned myself if it looked cute or not as that was the theme I was going for.

I then walked towards my curler and started curling the ends of my hair to just give a wavy end. I flipped my hair around after finishing to see if it looked nice. I nodded at my self and went to pick up my grey and shiny side bag.

I picked up all the gifts in both of my hands and hoped to not drop it.

I somehow managed to go downstairs with my hands filled with bags. My eyes met with my mom, humming to a song, "Good morning, are you ready for the party?" I nodded at my mom and placed the bags down on the table.

I walked up to my mom to see her packing some macaroons in a box, "Mom, what is this for?" She closed the box and forwarded it to me, "It's for your classmates and friends, here take it." I took it in my hands and thanked her for what she did as I walked back to the bags and put the box in one of them.

I sat down to eat breakfast with my mom as my dad was still sleeping. Having those yummy pancakes, I wondered if I should pick up Jimin since there were still lots of time left for school. I finished the rest of my meal while chatting with my mom.

I washed the dishes and wiped my hands using the towel next to the sink and walked to my bags and picked them up one by one, once again.

I exited the house while bidding farewell to my mom and went on the route to Jimin's.

I reached Jimin's apartment building and stayed downstairs waiting for him to come out. I sat there, in the seats provided, looking at the view in front of me.

It was a snowy day with breeze every now and then. In front of his building, there were some trees without leaves, covered with snow and a small empty park. I felt the rush of wind on my face as I closed my eyes. I watched as the snow fell from sky and realized Jimin hadn't come yet.

I reached to get my phone and call him if he was coming. I searched for his name in my contacts and clicked on it. I waited until I heard a faint music like a ringtone near me.

I looked behind and realized Jimin was getting out of the building. He wore a green puffer jacket over a black shirt with black skinny jeans. Then matched it up with a pair of earrings, black cap and black shoes. I had to say that it was a great look on him.

I ended the call and got up as I waved at him,"Oh y/n, I didn't know you would be here." He said as he waved back. "I came to pick you up for school so I was just waiting." He looked at me as if he was shocked,"I also wanted to pick you up, looks like you beat me to that," he said as we both laughed.

We both walked in a comfortable silence until we were close to school, "Oh my god, I'm honestly so excited for the party," he looked at me,"especially when I can't remember what actually happens in these."

I looked at him back and saw his sad smile plastered on his face, I let out a happy smile,"At least you are here to celebrate."

We both sighed at the same time and reached the school gates.
