Chapter 6

(Sarah)

I stared easily at the hospital room, I had just woken up. My mind freely dazed, wondering what just happened. The chair next to me had my bloody blue tank top and jeans on it, and my clothes were replaced by light pink hospital robes.

I shivered, it was cold in my room.

I placed a cold hand on my stomach.

It was bleeding.

I shrieked and a nurse came instantly.

"Well, hello ma'am," She said pleasantly. She was a young nurse, with firey red hair cut pixie short, with the most electric blue eyes, I'd ever seen. Her skin was pale and her face was without a blemish, or a freckle, or a zit or anything. She had on a pink scrub with purple butterflies. She looked like a little fairy or pixie herself, she was smaller than Carrie, but bigger than me. I was mesmerized by her, almost hypnotic, looks.

"My... my... my.." I stuttered, her smile calmed me.

"Ah," She said "Your little baby?" she asked

I nodded,

"He or she is in perfect condition, but you almost lost it," She said and I sighed.

"Oh, gosh, Carrie." I gasped

"Was the only one not harmed." She said calmly, but spiritedly

" Ethan?"

"Is... um.." her beautiful face saddened. "I'm afraid he's in a small coma, as were you.. but you just woke up."

"How long have I been out Mrs... umm.." I asked

"Oh I'm not married, my real name is Diane Moore, you can call me Dina if you want. You've been in a coma for four days,"

"Ohh.. Thank you Mrs- umm Dina."  She fluttered her thick eyelashes, she had no makeup of any kind on that I could see.

Suddenly the door slowly opened, and a black haired doctor popped in. He was pretty handsome, like a mix of my brother and Ethan. I could see he was growing a 5:00 shadow, which made him look badass and sexy, except grown up.

"He's awake." he said quietly and calmly.

Dina nodded, "Thank you, Wes."

He smiled and left the room.

"Looks like your husband is awake." She said.

"Ohh.. we.. we aren't married just yet."

"Ha, is that so? You are very young then, my dear." It was then I realized she had a strong, Irish accent. It made her sound more elegant and charming than before.

"Yup.. I know, but I'm gonna keep it," I said proudly.

"Wonderful! Marvelous! Good for you dear." Dina sat down on the chair next to me.

(Diane Moore's POV)

I talked with the sweet, strong girl named Sarah. She seemed wise even at the young age of seventeen.

She seemed stronger than I was at that age, hell, everyone was.

Ever since I left my convent, I've felt.. sort of unconnected.. She seemed dazzled though.

"I know I seem stupid.. but I don't want abortion, or adoption..I even picked out a name for him." Sarah said.

"Ooh? He?" I asked curiously.

"Yes.. I had sort of a feeling its gonna be a boy."

"Ahh, well see me in about.. five more months, we can see.. So what's your troublemaker's name?"
