Chapter 2 (Ethan's POV)

Warning: Ethan likes to cuss so this section is PG13 and Sarah won't cuss at all so dont worry about her, still debating if I should keep going or not...

(Ethan's POV)

    After I went home from the Chinese place yesterday, my parents were on my back about dating Sarah.

"She's a good girl, don't get me wrong, but what about Jenny?" My mom complained when I walked in. Jenny is my 'fiancée' as mom calls it.

''Jenny's OK, I guess, but Sarah is... great." I told her.

"But you need a wife, its traditional!" She remarked.

"I'll marry Sarah then."

"You know you can't do that

"Or can I?'' I bit my lip

She scrunched up her nose "You know you can't."

"Or can I?"

"No." And that was that.

    My dad was a lot more mean about my dating Sarah.

"Dammit, Ethan, you can't just go around and dating girls not right for you." I sighed, I love my parents but must they be such assholes sometimes?

My dad was well over 6"3 and scares the shit out of me. He has blonde hair, like me, and brown eyes. I got my blue eyes from my mom, who is red headed.

      I wish I wasn't born into such a terrible life, Sarah could have a boyfriend that is good for her, Jenny could marry a lucky SOB willing to, life would be much better for them, and as for me, I wouldn't have to hide a secret from my closest friends.

       I walked up in to my unclean room, pushing away some comics in the process. I was supposed to meet Sarah tomorrow, she would be the first person to know my secret.

Of course, I could tell her over the phone. Maybe I should call her so she doesn't freak out in public.

    I dialed her phone number slowly and heard the phone ring twice before Shaun picked it up. "Nah, she and Princess Perfect are having a slumber party." Crud.

"Cool, tell her I called." I said.

He hesitated "OK, whatever." I hung up and folded my hands into my lap.

Great, she'll call me back, I thought.

downstairs, the doorbell rang. I could hear my mom rush to the door. "Hi, Jenny! How are you?" I heard mumbling for a second. "Yeah, he's upstairs. You can go up there." crap, crap, crapity crap of the crappiest crap planet of crap.

I heard her small shoes clamp on the stairs like a fox .

Her small voice said "Ethan?" as if she didn't know I was here. I nodded for her to come in.

She kissed my cheek, "What's wrong?'' I wiped the kiss off cuz it seemed wrong.

I sat in silence

She said nothing for a minute. ''Come here.'' she grabbed my hand and pulled me downstairs, my parents looked entertained. Smartass was the word I thought when I saw my dad. She took me deep into the woods,all I saw was forest green all over me, here this tiny girl was dragging me to our hideout by a pond. the pond was small, but she liked to swim in it.

She stopped, and started to take off her clothes.

''Woah, Jenny, I can't." She grabbed me and kissed me. I pushed her away. ''What's with ya Ethan?" she asked blankly like a solid color. I said nothing cuz I didn't know either. She turned around,took off ALL her clothes.and instantly, went from tiny Jenny to a huge, gray, monster. I laughed and within a second I was a slightly bigger wolf. My fur black, and my eyes lighter blue than normal.

Jenny pouted, '' C'mon, J.W. is waiting."

J.W. is the current Alpha of the pack, but tonight he gets to choose the new one because he and his mate never had any boys to replace him.

We raced of toward the small pack of werewolves, her grey fur flying in the wind. I became a black shadow and passed her. even though she was stronger, I was faster than the wind.g

My mind flashed to Sarah, her smile, her hair, the way she scrunched up her nose when I did something funny, the way her lips felt. Then my mind flashed to Jenny, Jen -jen,  I thought of her curves. Yes I have to admit, Jenny is way hotter then Sarah, who next to Jenny would look like a dwarf.. but Sarah was different.. she  actually understood me.. Jenny would only be fun to sleep with, not actually talk to.

My brain flashed between two images, one of Sarah, one of Jenny. Jenny, if I choose Jenny, I'd be doing the right thing.. if I choose Sarah, I'd have the real thing forever. And how do I know I love Sarah? One night together doesn't mean I wanna be with her forever.. does it?

I was lost in a sea of thought until a small gray blur passed me. "Hey!" I barked speeding up. we were only a minute away.

We arrived and J.W was already starting.

"Greetings, Family." he said in his low, wolf voice. Before he started he flipped his orange-brown fur. "All you know that I have called you all- Children of Lyle- here to the choosing of the Alpha" he looked lovingly at his beautiful mate. She was a human- a mortal, she looked to me like Pocahontas from that Disney movie. He loved her all the same.

"I may not have long to live, and I want you all to know, that is fine by me.'' he continued. About 6months ago, he was diagnosed with cancer. Although we all expected it, He smoked, snorted, and chewed any drugs he could get his hands on. He was a wise wolf, not a wise person .

"I actually wish to die, not because I hate my life, The spirit of our leader, Lyle , has given me a long' youthful, life, which I enjoy everyday, but enough of this, let's begin!" He licked his mate and whispered something in her ear, she nodded and whispered back,

Then he looked at his pack, then he looked straight at me with his red eyes. I hoped he wouldn't pick me, I had enough drama already.. I'm still young, I closed my eyes and went to my happy place.. Sarah in a bikini, Sarah in a bikini... Sarah taking off the top of her bikini, taking off her bottoms.... "Ethan!" Jenny whispered ''You're drooling!" I woke up

"Ethan," the once wise alpha said
