The first rays if daylight broke the darkness, the sounds of birds disturbed the silence. Of course Ezekial and Lilla didn't experience this disturbance since they were 15 floors down. Ezekial awoke and looked at a clock.
"Shit we're behind schedule." He gets out of bed, gets dressed, and heads to go and wake Lilla up. However, once he steps foot in her room and looks at her lying peacefully on the elegant bed, he feels something inside of him, something that he has absolutely no idea about. "I'll let her sleep a little longer." He said turning on his heel and smiling to himself. Once back in his room he begins packing everything to put in the carriage, nearly forgetting about the new dress Lilla was to have for the last leg of their journey. A dress simple yet extravagant, casual yet formal. He heads to town where a dress shop called "The Elven Pinafore" awaits.
"Welcome to The Elven Pinafore! How may I help you?" A perky store clerk welcomes him.
"I'm here to get a dress for the next heir of Argonaut. Her and I still have a long ride ahead of us, and I want her to be as comfortable as possible, yet Presentable enough to meet the current queen." The store clerk pondered for a moment and snapped her fingers.
"I know the perfect outfit, I'll be right back." She elegantly sasheyed to the back of the store and emerged with a beautiful pale blue button up dress that slightly floated out at the knee.
"Perfect." Ezekial grabbed it from her hands and payed her in full. "Thank you ma'am." He walked out and started back towards the Inn.
"Your welcome sir!" She yelled after him.
Back at the Inn. Ezekial arrived through the door to the suite. "Lilla i got you some clothes. No response, than he hears the water running in the bathroom and a beautiful, enchanting voice singing from within the door. "Hmmm..." he follows the sound, he walks into the bathroom silently opening the door and walked in, setting the dress down and walked back out silently. Only to stop outside the door to listen to her voice.
"Just say you won't let go
Just say you won't let go
I'll wake you up with some breakfast in bed
I'll bring you coffee with a kiss on your head
And I'll take the kids to school
Wave them goodbye
And I'll thank my lucky stars for that night." he laughs to himself and walks off in a daze.
"Wow! Her voice is so beautiful." The water shuts off in the bathroom, she peeks around the flower curtain and spots the dress hanging up on a hook thats connected to the door and her eyes light up. she hops out of the shower, dries her body off, applies lotion to keep her skin moisturized, and puts the dress gives it a twirl and emerges from the bathroom with a cloud of steam. Only to almost walk right into a tall, lean figure.
"how was your shower Lilla?" he looked down upon her.
"Lord have mercy you nearly gave me a fucking heart attack standing there.. And my shower was amazing, and thanks for the dress by the way Ezekial." She beamed up at him he smiles back.
"You ready to leave?"
"Yes I am, how long will this last stetch be?"
"It will take a good portion of the afternoon but it will still be day light when we get there, so you can explore the palace a little before the luncheon tomorrow." Ezekial said turning back towards the front door so they could leave. Lilla quickly followed him out the front doors of the Inn to continue their journey towards Argonaut Palace.
Once they got in the Carriage, they started on the way to Argonaut.
