Rude Awakening

Once they got out of the Carriage a handful of servants came and greeted them at once carrying the few items Ezekial and Lilla had.
"Alas they arrive!" The queen turned back towards the enterance and yelled in. She elegantly walks down the few steps and comes to greet them. "Alas, the beautiful Lilla joins is." The Queen beams at her, grabbing both of Lilla's hands into her's.
"Greetings Your Majesty, to what do I owe the honor of being summoned?" Lilla askef while bowing as best as she could seeing how she has never bowed before.
"Oh shush you, cut the formalities. You'll be living here now, no need to address me as royalty, especially since you are royalty yourself." Vera, whom is the queen, smiles at Lilla with a beautiful smile.
"How am I royalty? I come from a poor family, on top a hill, in a small cottage. How the hell am I royalty?"
"Oh, you don't know. I thought you did. Well 15 years ago, the Queen of Çenex, Queen Viviana, put a spell on you that I wouldnt be able to tell you who you truly are until you turned 15 where you would return to this castle, unlock your powers, become the next queen, and rule this city. Those people you lived with for 15 years, weren't your real parents." Lilla's grey eyes turned into a scowl.
"Well no shit, you don't know nor do you want to know what the fuck that prick did to me, I'm glad he died when I was 10, even though I wish he would've died sooner. The fucker was dead to me the first time he laid a hand on me." Tears welled up in her eyes but the refused to fall, but her body just gave out and she sat on the ground in defeat, remembering every scream, every cracked whip, anything and everything that he did. Finally the tears fell one by one faster and faster for about 5 minutes before she gathered herself looked up at the terrified faces and she ran into the Palace, nearly running into prince Josiah as she breezed past him in the grand corridor. He looks up at his mother in confusion.
"God dammit Josiah run after her and stop her so we can comfort her!" Vera yells up at him and he turned on his heel following Lilla into the Ball room, where she sat in the middle of the floor with a defeated stature. He appraches her with caution since he doesn't know who she is, or what her power maybe.
"Why do you hate me so much!" Lilla screams, causing Josiah to jump and quietly say "I don't hate you. I barely know you so I can't determine whether I do or not but still."
"No, father Leave me alone! i can't take this anymore." She sobs just as Vera and Ezekial burst through the doors and runs to her side.
"What happened to her?" Josiah asks and kneels down next to his mother.
"Do you think you could break her out her trance of the past." Vera asks Josiah.
"I can do that but than you have to tell me what the hell happened." He demands.
"Noooo! Please stop, I can't take this anymore." Lilla interrupts.
"Hurry Josiah!" he quickly kneels in front of her and puts his hands on both sides of her head and closes his eyes, noticing a slight change in his power now, it felt a little stronger than before. He tunes this feeling out and focuses on getting her out of the past. Once the power surge passes through her head. She returns to the present with a huge gasp and a bloody nose. Everyone around her breathes a sigh of relief that it worked and give her a kercheif to wipe her nose.
"Now care to tell me who the hell this is? And what the hell happened?" He looks down at Lilla's now clear blue eyes and locked eyes with her. She looks away and gets up from the floor.
"Oh well Josiah, honey, this is Lilla, the future of Argonaut. And well I told her who she really was an started reliving her past caused by her fake father." Vera looks at Lilla with a worried look.
"Wait, thats the faerie you've always told me about since I was a kid." His eyes light up as if he just met his hero. Vera elbows him in the side.
"Shush, she doesn't know she is to marry you yet. Plus you're a 17 year old act a little more mature. I mean I'm glad you like your future bride so much but still." He winces a little in pain but that sobers him up a little bit.
"Where are my manners. My name is Josiah, prince of Argonaut." He bows down in respect. Lilla just looks at him like he's crazy but courtsies anyways the best she could.
"Alright! Thats enough shenanagins for the first hour you're here Lilla. We have a Welcome feast set up in the Great Dining Hall, go and knock yourselves out. Tomorrow we have the Luncheon with neighboring alliances to announce the return of the princess." Queen Vera glides off in the direction of the dining hall with Ezekial while Josiah and Lilla stay behind a little bit. He extends his arm to her in a gentlemanly manner she just breezes past him not knowing any better and heads to the Great Dining Hall.
