Sarah let out a jolted, uneven laugh. "One bed?" She wiggled her eyebrow at you.
"Well that's not going to work." You gazed at the twin sized bed. "So let me get this straight, we have to share a twin sized bed?"
"I-I guess s-so!" She struggled between fits of laughter.
"Well this is just fantastic." You huffed.
"C'mon, how bad could it be? I mean you're sharing a bed with Harry Styles, you know, the heart throb from One Direction. Ring a bell?"
"Seems vaguely familiar." You smirked.
"Let's just move your bags in here and we'll unpack later." You walked out and moved your bags neatly next to the wardrobe.
"Time to check out where you'll be staying!"
You walked back down to the lower floor and stopped outside of Liam's flat. "Are you ready?" You took a deep breath along with Sarah and twisted the key. Sarah nudged the door open and stuck her head in. She flipped the lights on and revealed a similar, yet much smaller, outlay with a different color scheme. His walls were lighter, non-stunning green with a light brown couch. Sarah wandered down the hall.
"God damn it!" You heard her yelp.
"Sarah?! You okay?"
"No! There are two bedrooms!" You keeled over from laughter onto the couch. "It's not funny!" She whined which only made you laugh harder.
"It so is." You gasped between breaths.
"Whatever! I'm going to unpack, want to help?"
"Sure!"
As you started unpacking her clothes into the drawers, Sarah turned to you.
"Would it be wrong if I borrowed a sweatshirt from him? I'm kind of cold." She asked you.
"I wouldn't think so. Why would he care?"
"I don't know-maybe I should call him?"
"Go for it." You encouraged, forgetting the time zones.
She dialed the phone not realizing that it was a mere 5:37 AM in America.
"H-Hello?" A groggy voice answered.
"Liam? Did I wake you?"
"No, why else wouldn't I be up at 5:30 in the morning?" He let out a masculine giggle.
"Oh my, I'm so sorry. I forgot about the time zones!"
"Relax it's fine. It's nice to hear your voice." He said flirtatiously. You couldn't tell what they were saying, but you could tell there was a tad of lust in the way she inadvertently twirled her hair around her finger and blushed with each pause.
"That's-sweet." She stuttered.
"So, how was your flight?" He moaned in a tired tone.
"It was-long." She smiled. "Look, I'll let you get back to sleep."
"No wait! Why did you call?"
"I just wanted to know if I could borrow one of your sweat shirts."
"Seriously babe?"
"Yeah it was stupid. I'll leave your stuff alon-"
"NO! I meant that in a way that was supposed to sound like you don't have to ask. Take whatever you need babe."
"Thanks Liam."
"It's absolutely not a problem. Talk to you later?"
"Sure, whenever you can. I'll see you in two days anyways."
"Alright then."
"Bye!"
"Later." He smiled through the words. As he hung up he swore he forgot to say something but it was early, of course he didn't remember that there was something in his drawers he didn't want her to find.
Sarah explained the entire conversation in vivid detail. To be honest you were truly happy for her, a little jealous, but happy.
"Which one should I take?"
"Does it really matter?" You laughed.
"Yes because more than likely he won't be getting it back." She winked. "Ugh, which drawer?" She groaned.
"Did you check the top one?"
She shifted up to it and began shuffling through it.
"Got it!" She pulled out a grey hoodie and a lace bra. "I don't think that's his."
"Me neither." I agreed still shocked to the sight on the floor.
"I knew he wasn't interested."
"You don't know that-" You were interrupted by sharp knock at the door. You both walked over, Sarah on the verge of tears.
You opened the door to see a beautiful, tall and skinny tanned girl with long dark, brown and curly hair.
"Can I help you?" You said in the most pleasing voice possible.
"Look, is Liam home?" She stated abrasively.
"N-No. He'll be home in a few days th-" Before you could finish she pushed past you and stormed straight to Liam's room. "E-Excuse me?"
"What?" She snapped at you.
"Who are you?"
"Danielle. Liam's ex. Worthless son-of-a-bitch did me so wrong." Her voice shook in anger.
She stormed around grabbing at the spare articles of clothing and lingerie. Before you had the chance to speak with her she bolted out.
"See, it's over." You smirked at Sarah and she released a pent up sigh.
"Well now I feel better." She laughed.
"I firmly believe that I will be heart broken if that happens in Harry's apartment." You sighed and headed back up to unpack your luggage, hoping that nothing would be in his drawer.
