You awoke in a coughing fit as the bedroom was slightly clouded. Smoke. You quickly rolled over to see Harry wasn't in bed next to you.
"Harry?" You gasped. The smoke wasn't that thick it was just dense enough to give you a small choke.
"B-Babe? Just stay in the bedroom!" He called from the other side of the door.
"B-But the smoke."
"Smoke? Damn it!" He quickly shoved the door open and threw you over his shoulder. As he trotted to the hall you adjusted your head to look into the kitchen. The pancakes were on fire. You snickered to yourself as he plopped you down in the hall and ran back inside. You sat in the hall for a mere five minutes before Harry slowly opened the door and smiled sheepishly. "M-Morning love."
"Care to explain?" You giggled.
"Pancakes gone wrong." He chuckled. He was so sweet. "I was attempting to make breakfast in bed but I failed miserably."
"Hey, you know it's the thought that counts." You smiled cheekily. "I saw some cereal in the cabinets, why don't we eat that in front of the TV?"
"Perfect." He released a breath of relief. He rubbed your back as he guided you inside. "Sit down, I'll get it." He smiled.
"What do you want to watch?" You called into the kitchen.
"News?"
"Oh you're so boring Styles!" You teased as you flicked on the TV.
"Oh quiet Sam!" He joked as he wobbled in with two bowls of cereal, he was still in his boxers. "So my dear we need to talk." He out the TV on mute and faced you.
"But I wanted to see the change in public health care!" You whined.
"Seriously?" He reached for the remote but you stopped him.
"No. I was kidding." You laughed. "What's the matter?"
"We need to talk about last night." You put your bowl down on the table in reminiscence.
"What about it."
"Why did you think you were fat?"
"The shirt, it didn't-"
"Stop right there. It did fit! Just the way it's supposed to and you looked sexy my dear."
"Liar." You smirked as you weakly pushed his arm.
"No, I'm serious." He put his bowl down next to yours ans grabbed your arm. "Look at me Sam." You glanced up into his deep emerald eyes and smiled. "There, right there." He pointed at your face.
"What?" You asked confused as you covered your mouth.
"Your smile." He carefully moved your hand away from your mouth and held it close. "Your smile gives me butterflies and makes me smile, it's one of the most beautiful sights in the world. And don't call me a liar, just accept it."
"Fine then. What do you want to do today?" You laughed.
"I was thinking some shopping." He looked quizzically at you. "What's the matter? We don't have to."
"No, I want to, it's just I don't have any money anymore."
"Why not?"
"Well I don't have a job and-never mind."
"And you're not accepting the pay Simon was giving you."
"Y-Yeah."
"Well lucky for you, when he told me that, I set up a bank account in your name and filed the money there."
"R-Really?!" You perked up.
"Yes silly and you won't need that money today anyway."
"Why not?"
"This trip is on me babe."
"Harry, I can't let you-"
"You can and you will." He smiled. "Now, let's get you changed." He winked and led you to the bedroom.
You both got changed one after another as you headed out. You went from store to store and remained empty handed as Harry was carrying about three bags. "Why do you refuse to buy anything? You keep on helping me pick out amazing clothes and you can't even find a single thing for yourself."
"I just don't see anything that flatters me."
"Well I saw a few things that look beyond amazing."
"Maybe on the racks."
"Nope! When they were on my beautiful girlfriend." You looked down as a crimson color washed over your cheeks. "I also love it when you do that." He whispered as he placed a lingering kiss on your cheek. "You mind watching these as I go to the toilets?" He placed his bags in a corner next to jewelry store and walked away as you nodded. You glanced in the windows of the store while he was away. One necklace caught your eye in particular. It had a silver, thin chain with a simple elegant sapphire dangling from the chain. The sapphire was your birth stone. It was so simple yet so elegant yet so expensive. You sat staring through the window just wishing you would be able to afford it. "Babe?"
Harry's call made you jump.
"Hey!" You smiled.
"What are you looking at?"
"Nothing, just fixing myself in the reflection." You smiled.
"Sure, so what do you say we hit up one more store before we leave?"
"Lead the way." You joked as you left the necklace behind.
