"Have a nice day!" The cashier bluntly called.
"You too!" You smiled and so did she.
"Thank you!" She brightened up.
"You my dear can certainly brighten a room." Anne turned to you.
"Really?"
"You can't see it? You literally make everyone smile!"
"Wow, I'm glad I can." You smiled-and so did she.
You packed the car and got it without a hitch as she began to drive back to the house. You began to unload the car as Harry ran out.
"I got that babe." he smiled widely as he took your bags and went in the house.
"Where were you a few years ago? He never helps, with anything!" She laughed.
"I'm surprised he's helping out too." You giggled.
As Anne started cooking dinner with Angel you began to chat with Gemma, she was lovely to talk to.
"Dinner's ready!"
"Shall we?" Gemma mockingly out her arm out as you humored her by looping yours through it.
"We shall." You laughed as you entered the dining room were Harry briskly slipped his arms around your waist from behind.
"Finally I can do this." He turned you around and kissed your lips softly. "I have been waiting all day but my family stole you."
"More like borrowed." You smirked.
"Where is Angel?" Robin questioned.
"Last I saw her she was out on the porch." Gemma pointed to the front door.
"I-I'll go tell her diner's ready." You bucked up.
"Are you sure? I can tell her." Harry stated protectively.
"I'm sure. You're all here, what's she going to do?" You plastered a smile on your face as you opened the front door gently. Angel was standing on the front path and didn't even turn to acknowledge you were behind her.
"The story has been sold to the papers and the paps were called Rob, I told you I could handle this." There was a painstaking silence as you began to put two and two together. "Love you too. See you tonight."
Hold up. She was seeing Rob? Wasn't he like twenty years older than her? "Were you listening to me on the phone?" Angel broke your train of thought with a screech. She sounded as though you were her younger brother spying on her.
"N-No, I was just coming to tell you diner is ready."
"So you're not even the least bit interested in what I was saying?" She sounded disappointed so you know this wasn't leading anywhere good.
"No." You lied.
"Are you sure?" She provoked, knowing she was getting to you.
"Fine. What?" You broke under the pressure.
"I just sold the most interesting story to the paps."
"And that would be?"
"That you are pregnant with another mystery mans child."
"What?!" You choked.
"Was that Sam?" Harry questioned.
"What's going on out there?" Gemma sighed knowing that with Angel there was bound to be drama.
Harry slipped over to the window in the dining room just in time to catch Angel slap you.
"God damn it!" He screamed out in frustration.
"Harry?!" Anne called in worry, but it was too late Harry was at the door.
"What do you think you are doing?!" Harry growled as he stepped in front of you.
"That bitch just told me to leave!"
"She was just saying what we were all thinking!" Harry defended you.
"Really? Then why was invited over?"
"So I could tell you to lay off of the two of the!" Anne stepped on the porch.
"Why are you defending this worthless piece-"
"Don't even consider ending that sentence." Harry warned.
"Well I guess I should tell you." She snickered.
"Tell me what?"
"That I told the paps where you are, oh and that I sold them a story saying Sam is pregnant with another man's child-"
"Why would you do that?'
"It's funny and I'm not done yet."
"What do you mean?"
"I also told Sam that your future proposal is a scam and that it's a ploy management is using."
"That's not true!"
"That's not what she thinks." She smirked. "Don't worry your pretty little head, I'm leaving." She winked and walked off to her car.
"Sam I swear-"
"Harry I don't believe her, I mean it's not like you would propose to me anyway."
"Can you guys give us a minute?"
"Absolutely." Robin pulled the women inside as Harry sat with you on the front steps.
"The truth is I am going to propose. I wanted it to be a surprise but I want you to know. Sam, before I ask you to marry me do you even want to marry me?"
"Yes! Why would you think differently?"
"Just the way you said I would never propose."
"I just meant that maybe when these two years are over you want to move on and find someone better."
"Never in a million years. You are prefect, there is no one better for me. You are it Sam, I can't imagine my life without you. I love you. Those 'two years' don't matter anymore, now that you're mine."
"And I will be forever. I love you too." He placed his lips on your forehead and you sat still in the breeze for a bit.
"I think we should eat dinner then maybe leave." Harry suggested.
"'What about your mom?"
"She'll understand. She doesn't want the house mobbed by cameras and fans either."
"I guess but with that story out even the apartments will be surrounded."
"Well we do have the weekend off so maybe we could grab a hotel room?"
"A-Are you sure?"
"I am, are you okay with it?"
"Honestly it sounds perfect. We can get away-ish." You laughed.
"Perfect."
