You awoke in a pile of sweat as a scream jolted you awake. A night tremor. You threw yourself out of the bed and hit the floor.
"S-Sam?" Louis called in fear, you must have woken him. It was hard not to have.
You tried to answer but were at a loss of words. You were going to screw up this relationship as well due to your freak habits.
"Sam?" Louis called, but this time stronger. Still were unable to answer as the dense air seemed to pry the words form your throat. "Babe?" His tone was scared as he rolled over the bed and saw you sitting against the bed. When he saw the tears he hopped out of the bed and rushed to your side. "What happened?"
"I-I can't tell you?" You shuddered as you thought of how he might react.
"Why not?"
"B-Because y-you'll leave me."
"I would never, please just tell me."
"I-It was a nightmare."
"You thought I would leave you over a nightmare?" He asked, completely confused.
"I get these night tremors when I don't take my medications."
"Why didn't you take them?"
"I forgot, I left them with Sarah. I am so pathetic I can't even rem-" Louis pulled you close muffling your last words on purpose.
"Don't say that, in case you haven't noticed, you have a lot going on my dear."
"I hate this."
"Hey, I'm here. You aren't going through this alone babe. It's only twelve now. Let me get the stuff." With no time to protest he was out and back. He had obviously pulled the same dash on Sarah because she's not one to give up easily. "Sarah said to take two of each and she told me that you may get sick." Your cheeks grew to a fiery red, enough so that he could see the color morph in the darkness. "What are you so embarrassed about?"
"Everything!"
"Babe, there is nothing to be ashamed of. You have had it rough and none of that was your fault and you getting sick is a side effect. Something else you can't control."
"Fine, but if I get sick you're not allowed in the bathroom."
"And why not?"
"I don't want you to see me like that, it's just gross."
"I don't care and there is nothing you can make me do to leave. Please, I have seen people get sick before."
"Fine then." You smirked at his releasing a laugh as you downed all four pills at the same time. The second they dropped you felt nauseous, maybe it was in your head. That theory was quickly disproved as you darted for the bathroom. You keeled over and lost everything. You were repetitively ill in the toilet and Louis held true to his promise and never left your side. He rubbed your back in small circles, held a cold cloth to your head and gave you water. He would stroke you hair and talk you through it, this was who you needed. Louis retrieved your tooth brush and more water and let you brush your teeth. You looked in the mirror as a single tear rolled down your puffy cheeks.
"Why are you crying." He asked tentatively as he wrapped his arms around your waist from behind as rested his forehead to the back of your neck.
"I look so-so ugly." You said in disgust. His immediately detached from your neck as he stared into your eyes.
"You are so wrong babe. You still look amazing after that episode."
"You are such a liar."
"Wrong and c'mon." He pulled your eyes away from the mirror and led you to bed, returning to your previous position. You quickly fell into a deep sleep in his arms.
You awoke the next morning to hear Louis softly humming in your ear; it was quite soothing. You accidentally shifted uncomfortably and Louis noticed.
"Are you okay? Did I hit a bru-"
"Hey relax. I'm fine I was getting a cramp." You giggled at his concern. He was so sweet.
"Oh." He sounded almost sad as he began to slip his arms away from your body.
"Why are you leaving?"
"I thought that was a hint."
"Wait, what?"
"A hint that you wanted me to move-"
"No, I had a cramp." You giggled at the sensitivity you were able to unmask.
"So what are we doing today?"
"No idea! It's Friday, right?"
"Yeah, what do you want to do?"
"We could go to the beach?"
"Sounds perfect! It's a little out of the way, but you know."
"Yay!" You cheered, you really loved the beach.
"I'm so glad to hear your excited, finally you sound happy."
"I guess I am."
"Do you want to make me happy?" He asked as he turned you to face him. I thought he said he would wait for you.
