Sean POV:
I've been i the same room, with the same old white couch with the same bright orange and pink pillows that sits on the samebright green shag rug on the same concrete flooring for over six days.
I flinch as the freak comes down holding someone. I hear plastic and see twopairs of bare feet and run to change. As I'm gathering the clothes she laid out, she comes into the bedroom. "Crap." I say and start changing under the covers.
When I get done I walk to the living room panicing the whole walk. I inch into the living room and sneak a look on the couch. I see a girl, short, but a mature face. Her freckles make like an astroid belt across her nose and cheeks, and her hair has been half straightened, but half was left curly. Her hair covers her face, but when she got enough air to breathe she removed it, revealing a face I was relieved to a face I thought I would never see again. One I was worried about. She stood and just fell back over.
"Hello?!" She screamed in a hoarse, terrified voice.
"Sydney?" I spoke up, not coming out to sight.
"Sean?! Sean where are you?! Are you okay? What's going on, where are we? I-I- Why us? I swear when we get out I'm gonna kick their-"
I came out and sat beside her, grabbing her arms."It's okay, I'm fine, but are you?"
She pulled me close and sobed into my sholder. "The police are looking for me, I was in a bus crash, and I thought you hated me, but now we're trapped by a psyco, and I've gotten a death threat, and Noah broke up with me, and I'm so confused!" She sobed and rambled on but one thing stayed in my mind: She was single, and here, right infront of me, in my arms. I've always seen when the girl cries on his shoulder, but I never thought I would be one to expierience it.
"But how do we get out?" She asked after a few minutes of silence.
"Noah broke up with you? And police want you? What?" I felt bad, but my blood boiled. Noah- my friend, broke up with her because she got a death threat. And she wouldn't break the law.
"It was the bus crash, we were on edge after hitting a train, and i stood, so they accused me of murder and-"
"Your hand. What happened to your hand?" I was angry, but I wasn't trying to be. She flinched and got up.
"After we fell, I tried to get out and punched the glass. and I broke my knucles." She looked away and looked down at her clothes. "I was taken later that day, and I don't anything else, until now."
My eyes started to water. I tripped on the stairs while getting to the door. "I'll kill you!" I said and rammed into the door one time after another. when I broke down, sliding down the door.
She walked up to me and looked like she had been asleep.
"Come on. Where do you want to sleep?" She took my wrist and lead me to the bedroom.
"Where are you going to sleep?" I asked taking off my overshirt, revealing under-armor.
She quickly shielded her face, but I could see her smile. "In the second bedroom." She giggled. I shoved her out the room ad shut the door.
When I opened the door, she was standing with her hands behind her back.
"I have to ask you something, and don't be mad." She said and lead me to the couch. "Okay, Why? Why do you resent me?"
I feel guilt and disbeilief. "What? I-I don't! I" I sigh. "I need time to think about how to put it." I got up and walked away.
Sydney POV:
I woke up and turn on the light to the kitchen. I saw a note.
'Hey, sorry about walking out last night, and I dont resent you. I just, everytime we go out, I have this weird feeling, and I don't know. I would have told you in person, but I kinda hit the wall and I didn't want you to see me like that. I wrote this last night, and I never realized two incredible things.
1. You can sleep through an elephant ripping the house apart.
2. I love you.
If you feel the same, come into my room by 8 a.m. If you don't, come in at 8:01.
Love, Sean'
I look at the clock and its excatly 8. I rush into his room. It was locked.
"No,no, no!" I said twisting the knob and jerking the door. I slid down the door into my usual sitting position. He opens the door and I scramble to get up.
"I-I just woke up and" I trailed off.
He came into hug me. The girl came down and we snapped to get on the couch.
'Food?' She wrote.
"We-" I started
"Already ate, you son a swollen pimple." He sounded to mad it even scared me.
She lunged at me. I paniced. I screamed. And everything went black.
