Bex Mack: Story of Bexs life!

The New Melody

Melody: "Bex!"
"Hi!" I Said nervously.
As I walked in I started to feel more nervous. I wanted to back out but she already saw me and I can't now.
I force myself to walk over to the booth and sit down.
Melody: "Finally peace. No Emilys! Anyways, how are you?"
Bex: "Good... you?"
I kept everything quick and short.
Why did I come?
Melody: "Holding up! Want anything?"
I was hungry but my first response was...
"No thanks I'm full."
Melody: "Haha ok. So how is everything... like, um..."
I knew what she was asking.
About my baby.
"Good. You?"
Melody: "Great! I found out what I'm having! A boy!"
"Wow! Cool. Do you have any names?"
Melody: " I was thinking Elijah or Lucas... not exactly sure yet though."
"Aw! Those are cute names!"
As we started talking and having an actual conversation my nerves went down and I started feeling Better.
Melody: "Thank you! Now your turn. I'm not sure if you said or not but did you find out what your having?"
"No not yet. Last time I went for my appointment the power went out and all the ultrasound machines went out, the power came back on but only the things you check for a heartbeat were working so I just did that. Next week though I'm going to find out."
Melody: "Wow. That sucks! Here let's do this. Do you have any guesses?"
I actually did.
"A boy."
I had this thought because the old wives tales thingys really got in my head and most of the results were half and half except boy beat girl by two points.
Melody: "Haha. That's cool! Do you have any names in mind?"
"Not really, I mean I have one boy name I like but it keeps coming and going... It's Nolan."
I'm not sure why I liked that name, but I just did.
Melody: "Oh. My. God. That's so cute... um I might have to just steal that name! But I won't because it's your name!"
"Thank you!"
We talked more about babies then slowly changed the subject to cute animals then nice people then mean people.
About an hour later Melody got a call from her parents saying they need her home immediately.
So we both said our goodbyes.
She left but I stayed.
I didn't feel like walking so I texted my dad to come pick me up. He told me he would be there in five.
While I waited I called Katelyn.
Katelyn: "Bex!!! Omg! Are you ok?? Did she kill you? Hurt you?"
"Yes Katelyn. I'm dead. I'm just Bex's sprit talking to you from the dead."
Katelyn: "Someone's in a mood."
"Katelyn, I'm fine. It was fun! I had fun!"
Katelyn: "SHE DID WH- oh wait. You had fun. Wow. Ok then. Well I'm glad and surprised you had fun. Sorry to cut you short but I have to go now. Talk to you later!"
I said bye to her.
When I hung up I waited a few more minutes till my dad pulled up.
I walked to his car.
This has truly been a good day.
I wanna do this again.
Maybe I'm right.
Maybe Melody is a new person!
I like the new Melody.
