Bex Mack: Story of Bexs life!

The party

Christmas was a success! He loved the idea about the factory! We aren't going till June though, but it's only a few months away!
Today is Katelyns party. It's not until later though. Bowie offered to pick me up, I said that it was fine, but let's see how fine it is with my mom.
"Hey, so you know Katelyns party is today, right?"
Mom: "oh she's throwing it this year, don't stay out to late."
"I won't, but Bowie is coming to pick me up."
Mom: "not surprised"
Well that was a twisted reaction.
"What do you mean?"
Mom: "Rebecca, I've gotten used to the fact that you never tell the truth anymore. So I'm not surprised, and even if I say no, your still not gonna listen."
Ok there's my mom
"I don't lie as much as I used to but ok, I'm gonna go get ready."
Mom: "Quick Question, you were telling me about these two bad kids who crashes parties, and spike the drinks."
"Mom, it's at Katelyns, nothing bad will happen."
Mom: "please just listen to me just this once."
"Fine, I won't drink her harmless fruit punch."

Few hours later

The party has started , lots and lots of people were coming in quickly.
It was 10:00pm
Katelyn: "Bex! Bowie! Ahhhhh!! You guys look so adorable!"
Bowie: "Why yes we do!"
He said in a joking way.
Bowie: "if we were giving out awards for the most beautiful person here, it would go to Bex!"
Katelyn: "Awwwwwwww omg I can't get over you two!!"
I blushed
Katelyn went to go greet more people while me and Bowie went to go find somewhere to sit.
Bowie: "Does her parents know about this?"
"Of course! Even if they didn't they wouldn't care... I'll tell you a story. Katelyns older sister Vanessa lied about going to a friends house, they went to the mall and ended up shop lifting, the next thing you know, her parents are at the police station... after the picked her up they felt so bad and bought her the $100 dollar pair of earrings she tried to steal!"
Bowie: "oh wow! I wish my parents were that easy going."
I never met his parents, or even been inside his house.... at first I thought his parents were physically or mentally abusing him but I guess I was wrong. His parents are over dramatic and fight over silly things and Bowie said he doesn't want me to be around that.
Katelyn: "wow.... I guess I won for the party contest! There's so many people here! I feel like no one went to Emily's!"
Emily: "Duh! I canceled my party to come to your stupid party ."
Katelyn: "thanks sis."
Melody: "Where can we find Abby, your maid? All you have is crapy food here."
Emily: " I thought I was the only one! Twinsies!!"
Katelyn: "go find her yourselves, you have legs, you can walk."
Emily: "Whatever."
Bowie: "Are they always that snobby?"
"Yep! All the time!"
Katelyn: "I mean I have way more money than they do and I'm not a brat like them."
Bowie: "Agreed!"
Katelyn: "do you guys want my famous punch? Bowie, it has fruit punch mixed with sprite and sherbet ice cream! It's good!"
Bowie: "sounds good to me!!"
My mom's words about spiking drinks got into my head... I looked around to see if Nathan or Dave were here... not there, or there.... oh wait, there they are...
"Um, what if Dave and Nathan, you know, spiked the drinks?"
Katelyn: "They didn't! Trust me, you would taste it! Or smell it! If you don't believe me call my sister."
"What does she have to do with this?"
Katelyn: " long story short, when she was in high school, someone spiked her drinks and knowing my family, we aren't very bright, she said she could taste and smell the alcohol but still drank it... they next day, she was on our roof.... don't ask me how she got up there."
Bowie: oh. Interesting story!"
"Ok, fine, I'll take a cup."
While she went to go get our drinks I looked at the time.
11:00pm
Wow, we've already been here for and hour!
Katelyn:"Here you guys go!"
Bowie took a drink of his
Bowie: "woah!"
"What?! Did they spike the drinks?! I told you!!"
Bowie: "oh no, I just really like this!"
"Oh ok."
I took the smallest sip of mine and so far I could only taste Katelyns punch.
I took a bigger sip and it still tasted the same. I think I'm good.
Me and Bowie talked for a while and had some more punch. I went to see what the time was and it was 11:55pm that means only five more minutes till a new year.
Katelyn: "if you guy want to watch the ball drop, come to my living room!!"
Bowie: "wanna go?"
"Of course!"
There was only 45 seconds till New Years. A few seconds passed by and people started to chant
People: "10! 9! 8! 7! 6! 5! 4! 3! 2! 1! HAPPY NEW YEARS"
Bowie: "wow I can't believe it's already 2003!"
" I know! It's crazy!"
We were both watching the tv and everyone who was in New York who were a couple were kissing, and so were people here.
Before me or Bowie said anything, we kissed. It was my first ever kiss, I only dated on other guy before him but we never kissed. I loved it. I love him a lot!
After that me and Bowie stood and stared at each other and laughed. After that we had a few more of Katelyns drink. We talked to a few people. I can only remember a few things after our kiss, after that, everything was a blur.
