Kassidy had lost all sense of time, she was exhausted and she swore that every time she just fell asleep, Hook knew and caused some sort of chaos above to make as much noise as possible to wake her up but he kept to his word. She hadn't seen him in two days and the only time she saw anyone was when Smee came to change the bucket. She was hungry, dehydrated and severely humiliated.
"What a mess you've gone and got yourself into this time." She blinked her tired eyes open at the familiar voice.
"Elliot?" She asked.
"Yeah. Its me." Elliot smiled.
"It can't be. You are dead." Kassidy said and pushed herself up weakly so she was sitting.
"If I was dead would I be talking to you?" He asked.
"Well.. no I suppose not." Kassidy shrugged. She knew she had to have been hallucinating but it was a nice change from the quiet.

Smee stood above the hatch listening to the Princess talking to herself.
"Come on Captain. She's losing it down there." He pleaded with Hook.
"No. She still has one more day."
"She's going to die sir. She did not look well when I went down there this morning."
"If she dies its her own fault." Hook said trying to avoid eye contact with Smee as the man always found a way to appeal to his more human side.
"Maybe just let me bring the girl a drink? Just one."
"No. If she gets anything, she gets it from me, and she will beg me for it." Hook replied
"What more can you take from the girl? You've taken her from her home over a debt that she had nothing to do with, You had her friend killed and you've humiliated her."
"Enough! She gets nothing. Am I clear?" He barked.
"Aye, sir." Smee said hesitantly and walked away. Hook listened to the princess below rambling on to herself. He thought just a moment about going down there, but only to see if whatever he saw the other day would happen again. Something was different about this princess and it wasn't just her attitude.

Kassidy had carried on a conversation with her dead best friend for most of the day until he too disappeared and she was alone in the silence and darkness again. Until she heard the familiar shuffle of Smee's feet in the room. She lifted her head and blinked her eyes.
"Smee.." She said weakly. Smee looked back towards the stairs.
"I've been told I'm not to speak to you." He said.
"Please.. I need water." She said with her voice cracking.
"Captain would kill me. Maybe if you ask him nicely." Smee suggested.
"He had my friend murdered and took me away from my family. I will ask him for nothing." Kassidy said. Smee crouched down to her.
"I wish I could help you. But you are going to have to stop being so stubborn if you want to survive Princess."
"Smee!" Hook Boomed.
"Coming Captain!" He called and hurried up the stairs. Kassidy silently begged him to come back so she wouldn't have to be alone.

"Up!" Kassidy felt a nudge to her legs and blinked her eyes open. She was so tired she just closed them again. "I said up!" Hook said and kicked her this time.
"Owch!" Kassidy groaned and opened her eyes blinking until his deceiving angelic eyes came into view. "Huh. You've survived. Impressive princess." He smirked. Kassidy didn't even have the energy to retort. He opened a canteen and drank from it and crouched down in front of her. "Thirsty?" He asked. Kassidy reached for the canteen with her free hand but he slapped it away. "What do you say?" He asked. She narrowed her eyes at him.
This sadistic son of a bitch was actually going to make her beg and she was thirsty enough to do it. Her survival instincts were kicking in now and if she was ever getting back home she would have to give the pirate what he wanted. For now.
  "Please." She croaked.
"Please what?" He asked with a devilish grin.
"Please. Captain." She said with bitterness in her tone.
"I don't quite like the tone, but you are learning. Here." He said and handed over the canteen. Kassidy took it from him and tipped it back drinking the water until it was gone.
"Are you ready to behave?" Hook asked. Kassidy nodded.
"I need to hear it." He said and put his hand to his ear.
I really fucking hate you She thought to herself.
"Yes, Captain." She said with a sigh.
"Good." He reached up to untie her wrist and looked at her "Make no mistake. Princess If you try anything. Anything at all. You'll be down here for the next month Understood?"
"Yes." She said. He gave her a look. She sighed. "Captain." She finished.
This was going to get old fast. He untied her wrist and her arm that had lost feeling late last night was finally waking back up and Gods it hurt. She bit her lip to keep herself from crying out as her Arm fell to her side. She would NOT give him that satisfaction
"Can you stand?" He asked. Kassidy slowly got to her feet and tried to step forward but collapsed into him. "Alright. Sit." He said and pushed her onto a crate to sit.
"I will bring you more to drink and some food and then we'll try the walking thing again." He said.
"Stay." He added with a smirk as if she really had a choice before he walked his smug ass up the stairs.

He returned with a tray and set it down on her lap. The quality of the food was much different than the last two times she was given food and she looked at Hook as if it was some sort of trap. "Its not poisoned. I promise." He said. "Eat."
He didn't have to tell her twice she dug into the food eating like she hadn't seen food in a year. "Easy or you'll be sick." Hook said. Kassidy slowed down.
"Would that be concern in your tone?" Kassidy asked.
"I'd rather you not vomit on my ship. Princess."
"I'd rather you didn't call me princess." Kassidy said and took a drink of the water. "At least not in that tone. You speak of manners yet you clearly have none." Kassidy said.
"What tone would that be?" Hook asked.
"The one that suggests being a princess is the most terrible thing in the world." Kassidy replied. "Ah, so much like the one you use when you call me Pirate, correct?"
"Well, let's see in the short time that I have known you, you have ordered the death of my closest friend, taken me from my home for reasons beyond my control, and you have starved, dehydrated, and humiliated me and have treated me less than human. So yes Pirate, I think when I take that tone with you it is more than earned on your behalf! What have I done that is so horrible to you?" Kassidy asked and set the empty tray on the floor beside her.
"It isn't what you've done. It's what your father has done, and him knowing that his one and only daughter is suffering at my hand is more than enough payment for me. Princess" He smirked "Remember who you are speaking to. You breathe because I allow it." He added and took her chin between his thumb and index finger his blue eyes inches from hers searching for something which she assumed was fear and she was not about to give him that.
"Tell me. Did you love him? Elliot?" Hook asked and smirked at the faint orange glow in her eyes. He knew he wasn't just seeing things. Kassidy was silent.
"I heard you, all night. Crying his name." Hook mocked.
"He was my friend, and he was taken from me unfairly. Am I not allowed to mourn?" She asked and then glanced down at the Captains wrist at his tattoo and made the horrible split second decision to fight fire with fire.
"Did you mourn?" She asked. "Did you mourn Milah?" She smiled sweetly. His blue eyes clouded with painful memories before darkening with rage and before she even knew what was happening she was lifted from her seat by her throat and slammed into the wall behind her with bruising force.
"You. Don't. Speak. Her. Name!" Hook spat squeezing her throat to the point where she was clawing viciously at his hand with hers in attempt to get him to ease his grip.
She gasped and choked and her eyes watered and they shot open and were the color of dragon fire. She gripped onto Hooks wrist and he felt his skin blistering under her grasp. He cried out and released her. Kassidy fell to the floor gasping for air looking up at the Pirate Captain staring at his blistered wrist he turned his gaze to hers and she realized she had made a possible fatal error. She slipped. She used her magic.
"You were right, you are no ordinary princess." He said and grinned at her with malicious intent.
