No Ordinary Princess (Captain Hook/OC)

Chapter 8

A/N: Sorry this Chapter is so short Its just for filler, the next chapter is much longer :) 

  "I am not in the mood for company Mr. Smee." Kassidy muttered and brought her drink back to her lips.
"I thought you were going back to the ship." Smee said. Kassidy looked up from her drink and narrowed her gray eyes at him.
"I see." Smee noted but still did not leave the table. "Do you care to talk about why you are upset?" He asked. His tone suggested he knew why.
"I would have to be upset to talk about why I am upset Mr. Smee, and that I am not, what I am is thirsty." Kassidy smiled. Smee pushed his drink across the table at her. He knew she wasn't being honest, but he also knew she was stubborn so getting anything out of her was going to be near impossible and a drunk princess alone in a tavern full of lonely men was a recipe for disaster so he would sit with her and keep away anyone who got too close.
"I don't understand it Mr. Smee." Kassidy slurred out as she stacked the empty mugs on the table.
"Don't understand what?"
"Why he has to pay someone to do those things." Kassidy replied.
"Well, Princess.. Men get lonely when they spend so long on the sea. The Captain is no exception. He has needs." Smee shrugged.
"So why doesn't he find a wife?" Kassidy asked like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"I think you've had maybe a bit too much to drink." Smee chuckled.
"I think you've had too much to drink." Kassidy argued and finished her drink and added the mug to the stack of other ones. "All I am saying, is he's a very nice looking man. Who could do a lot better than these disgusting whores." Kassidy slurred and put her arms on the table and laid her head on them. Smee raised his eyebrows at her and cracked a smile. He was right. The princess was starting to grow fond of his Captain.
"I won't tell him you said that, he'd never let you forget it." Smee laughed. Kassidy didn't respond.
"Princess?" Smee asked and nudged her. She slapped his hand away with a disgruntled groan and went back to snoring.

"Oi! Get up!"
Kassidy felt herself being violently shaken. She blinked her eyes open and wished she hadn't. Her head was pounding and her vision was blurred
"The.. hell.." She grumbled.
"I said get up." Hook growled. Kassidy raised her head from the tavern table and looked at him.
"Piss off.." She mumbled and laid her head back down.
"Sorry Captain she got a little carried away last night." Smee said.
"It's quite alright Mr. Smee." Hook smiled before lifting a bucket of freezing water and pouring it all over Kassidy. Kassidy screamed and jumped up from the table gasping.
"That did the trick." Hook chuckled.
"You son of a-"
"Ah! That's no way to talk to your Captain." Hook smirked.
"I..HATE you." Kassidy growled and staggered out of the Tavern shivering.
"What is her bloody problem?" Hook muttered to himself and followed her.
"When I said go to the Tavern, I didn't expect you to drink, the Tavern dry love." He said catching up to her.
"No, what you said was What do I care? And Just go. So what I did, is none of your damn business. Hook" Kassidy spat and stomped onto the ship.
"It was just water, Love. You act like I've doused you with poison" Hook laughed. Kassidy whipped around and her eyes were bright orange.
"Do not call me love!" She screamed. Hook pulled her to him roughly and stared into her eyes with his.
"Do not scream at me." He growled. Kassidy pushed him off of her and threw a fireball that whizzed past his head.
"Touch me again and you will be one crispy Captain." She threatened. "And take a bath you smell like a whore." She scrunched her nose in disgust and walked into the Captains Quarters slamming the door behind her and locking it with her magic so he couldn't get in.
Hook paused for a moment trying to collect what the hell had just happened. She hadn't threatened him with magic in a while in fact it had been a while since he had seen her this angry.
"It was..just water!" He grumbled and stormed over to his Quarters and went to open the door but it wouldn't budge. He hit the door with the side of his fist
"Kassidy! Open the damn door!" He shouted.
"Fuck off!" Kassidy shouted back at him.
"Listen to me you disobedient little Wench. Open the bloody door before I have you keelhauled!"
"Call me Wench one more time and I'll burn your ship down" Kassidy screamed and threw something in the room and he could hear it smash to pieces he could only image what mess she was turning his Cabin into.
"Maybe give her some space Captain." Smee suggested.
"Give her space? I'd like to create a space between her head and her shoulders for what she's done! What is her Goddamned problem?!" Hook demanded "She's locked me out of my own Cabin, after she tried to burn me alive!"
"She may, or may not have come back to the ship last night, and she may or may not have seen you with your..er..companion last night." Smee said.
"So what if she did? She saw the woman when I kicked her off the ship to go to the Tavern. What did she think? I was inviting her to my bedchamber for fucking TEA?" Hook boomed.
"I'm sure she didn't Captain, I'm just suggesting that maybe seeing you with that woman..possibly upset the princess?"
"Why would Kassidy give a bloody fuck what I do and who I do it with?!" Hook asked.
Smee shook his head. "I don't have the answer to that Captain."
Hook grumbled.
"Go make yourself useful elsewhere Smee." He spat. Smee nodded.
"Yes sir." He said and hurried off. Hook sat down on a crate pondering what Smee had said.
Why would Kassidy care? Why would seeing him with a whore send her into a fit of rage? When it dawned on him why she might have been acting so irrationally, but surely the woman he had kidnapped hadn't become smitten with him, not after how he treated her, no woman in their right mind would. Of course Kassidy was not like any woman he had ever met. It's not like he returned her feelings. He couldn't. He wouldn't.
"Fucking hell.." He sighed.
