"Sure, dad. I will. I can't wait to meet you up with my girlfriend."
"Okay, take care, dear. Please, say hi Jisoo to me. She seems nice according on how you describe her. Gotta hang up, nini. Dad loves you."
"I love you, too, dad. See you." And with that she ended the call with her father. She was so happy that her dad likes Jisoo for her.
She started to pack up some snacks and water. Jisoo is waiting for her at the living room. The couple planned to hike at the *insert the name of the mountain BI hiked up in iKON TV*.
It's their first time climbing a mountain and they're ready to face the challenge.
"Are you done with stuff and all?" Jisoo asked and the latter just nodded.
"Make sure you brought you're gloves." The older girl reminded.
"Aye, aye captain." Jennie said childishly.
They went outside the apartment and locked the door. They waited for a taxi to come by. And after waiting for some good couple minutes, they finally hailed a cab.
When they arrived at the said location, Jennie gave the driver their fare and a tip.
"Thanks for the ride, Ahjussi!" She said and close the door.
"Ready, bub?" Jennie asked her girl who's getting pale seeing the mountain they'll hike.
"Y-yes." She said like scared child.
Because they are still beginners on this sport, someone will guide them and they will take the easy route. Safety first.
"Push away your worries, I'm here. 'kay?" Jennie reassured the scaredy girl.
Jisoo trusts her girlfriend over anyone else, so, she held her hand and they started to hike with worries set aside.
It was easy and smooth going at first, but when they got nearer to the top, the steeper it gets. Jisoo is quite struggling and the latter tried her best to cheer her up.
"You can do it, babe. We're almost there." She said with full of encouragement.
The older just smiled in response and hold unto the railings even tighter.
They had mini breaks along the way. After their knees had to give up, the couple finally arrived at the top.
Jennie looked over the view and can't help but to open her mouth in awe. She was fascinated by the over-looking view of the city of Seoul.
Another one to cross out on their bucket list.
On the other hand, Jisoo closed her eyes. Feeling the calmness and peacefullness at the top. And thoughs came rushing through her mind.
Why do I feel sad when I'm supposed to happy.
"Jis, open your eyes. It's so beatiful in here. My tiredness suddenly goes away." Jennie said.
But the latter didn't open her eyes instead she muttered something.
"I'm afraid."
And that hit Jennie, her girlfriend is afraid of heights. That what Jennie knew but little did she know the older was afraid of something.
"It's okay, babe. I know you're afraid of the heights but the view is worth it." She said encouraging her while side hugging her.
Finally, she opened her eyes.
"I'm afraid, Jennie. I'm afraid, I will forget about you. I will forget about us."
