3rd Person POV

"Alright shit head! That's the last straw!" Simon, Levi's foster dad, yelled at him. He walked over to Levi in an infuriated manner as Levi coward in the corner afraid of what was coming next. Simon grabbed him by his hair and slammed his face into the ground. He then kicked Levi in the stomach repeatedly and spat on him. "Go to your damn room. You are to be out of here Sunday night or you are dead. Pack your shit kid." He then turned his back and walked away as if nothing happened. Levi gripped his stomach in pain and just started to weep. He dragged himself to his room and packed his things without even really paying attention to what it was. He was just grabbing random clothes and throwing them into his ripped up, old backpack that was the only thing that was left for him from his mom. As he looked at it, he remembered his dark past. Levi had been in foster care his whole life; since he was 5 y/o anyways. His mom was driving to pick him from his kindergarten class when she was hit head on by a semi truck. But not even that was enough kill her. She stayed alive for a few minutes and called Levi's teacher and asked to speak to him. The words still lingered in his head to this day. "I love you so much. Don't ever forget that. I'm sorry that I've left you on your own. I'm gonna go now honey. Tell your teacher I won't be coming to get you and to call Rose Foster Home on 104th street okay honey? I love you. Stay Strong." Levi didn't understand it at the time but when he was told he would never see his mom again, he eventually figured it out. When he did, the foster home told him what happened. Thinking about this made Levi choke up but he always refuses to let the tears fall. 'Stay Strong...' Levi grabbed his bag and ran out the door as fast as his little legs would take him. He jumped down the stairs when he was halfway down. He stumbled a bit but recovered and kept running. He opened the front door and slammed it, nearly making it come off its hinges. He felt tear sting his eyes and he could stop them from falling anymore. "I'm sorry I'm not strong enough mom. Forgive me." He whimpered as he ran. At this point, he was sobbing and choking on air as he was gasping and panting. He had already ran to the park that was a mile away. He ran so hard that he didn't even realise how long he ran for. He collapsed to the ground as his vision started turning to black. Just before he blacked out, he saw what he thought was an angel. It was a boy a few years younger than himself. He had beautiful chocolate brown hair that went just above his shoulders. Even from a distance, Levi could tell that he had emerald green eyes that you could get lost in. The boy ran up to Levi and grabbed him into his arms and yelled for his mom. "I'm...sorry for...causing you trouble..." Levi managed to choke out before blacking out once again.
