Jane's POV
I spent the last four days helping Sam in the tattoo parlor doing piercings and sketching up some custom tattoo designs for a few customers. Sam and Nick had invited me to party and I had to decline. I'm not the best with alcohol but I'm apparently amusing to watch when I'm completely wasted. I start training tomorrow and I didn't want to start with a massive hangover.
It was early in the morning, around six am I think. I had just gotten out of the shower and dried myself with a towel, put on my black underwear with lace trimming, then walked across my flat to a long rectangular mirror that hung in-between my dresser and closet. I put my towel on the dresser and began to comb my now straight hair. It had gotten rather long, I can't really remember the last time I got a hair cut. I finished combing my hair and examined it, maybe I should cut it. How short? I did want to try this new hairstyle that I had seen an older dauntless woman wearing, the side of her head was shaved, showcasing the elaborate tattoo on her neck. "Should I cut it?" I said aloud to no one in particular. "Don't, the length suits you." A deep voice had answered my question, scaring the life out of me. I spun my head around to see who the intruder was, not forgetting to hide my chest while doing so. Sitting as if he belonged there or had been invited at the least, was Eric. The god damned boy was smirking at me. "Jeez! Eric, I'm not dressed! How did you even get in here?" I asked, blushing profusely, scrambling for my towel to have some type of cover.
Eric let out a deep, throaty chuckle then put his feet atop the arm rest opposite him, now fully laying on my small couch. "I know a few tricks." Eric then plastered that stupid smirk on his face again. I scoffed at his vague reply and proceeded to walk over to him. I stood beside his chest and bent low enough to reach his ear,"Get out of my apartment before I remove you myself." Eric gave me an evil and amused grin. "I'd like to see you try." I rolled my eyes and started to walk towards his feet. In one swift moment, my towel was tugged away from my body and I quickly covered my bare chest with my arms. "Eric! Give me back my towel!" I yelled, my face red as a tomato I assumed. "I don't know, I kinda like the view." Eric now twirled my towel around his finger. I made sure to cover my chest almost completely with my left arm then lunged for my towel with my right. Before I could grab the towel, Eric flung it far behind him. "Oops." Eric smirked with a sarcastic grin. I huffed then walked over to Eric's feet which still rest atop the arm rest. "Feet off the couch, heathen." I smacked Eric's, might I add rather large feet, off my couch and on to the ground with a thud. Eric only continued to smirk. "Whatever." I huffed before walking over to my dresser, grabbing my clothes then retreating back to my bathroom, but not before snatching my towel off the ground.
Once I had finished getting dressed, I put my hair in a ponytail and went to make myself some coffee in my small kitchen area. Coffee finally brewed and poured into my favorite black mug, I sat on my living room table and simply watched the young leader while drinking my coffee. This seemed to bother him so I continued with an even more intense gaze. Eric crossed his big burly arms, probably bigger than my head, and sighed frustrated,"What?" I looked up from his massive biceps and looked him in the eyes. I didn't reply, just smirked and lifted an eyebrow, continuing to enjoy my coffee. Eric gave me a look as if to say 'really?' I winked at him and took another sip of my coffee. This was the last straw for Eric, he snatched my mug from my hands, walked over to my kitchen sink and poured the coffee out slowly, all the while giving me a nasty glare. I jumped to my feet,"What the actual hell, Eric!" Once the mug held no more coffee Eric placed the cup roughly on the counter and smirked. This boy and his darn smirking! "You answer me when I talk to you, understand?" Eric crossed his arms again. My eyes flickered to his flexed arms, I can't even imagine what hugging him would be like. "You're so smug now but when I snap from coffee deprivation, you'll be sorry." I stuck my finger out at Eric, poking him in the chest, which I soon began to regret. My face contorted to a look of shock and slight pain. Almost broke my finger just poking him, what is he on?! Eric smirked yet again. "I will wipe that god forsaken smirk off you're face and Lord believe I will enjoy it." I angrily stomped away from Eric which actually didn't turn out to be as angry seeming as I planned since my feet barely made a sound on the black carpet. Eric laughed," Lets get going shorty." Thunk. Eric spun around and glared at me. "Oh my gosh, my- I- I- my- my hand seems to like the back of your head. Hmm, wonder why." I smirked. I could tell by the mixed emotions on Eric's face, he didn't know whether to scold the living daylights out of me or to laugh hysterically at how well I pretended to actually be scared of him.
