Yesterday in the Car:

After a few minutes of riding in silence, Nick stopped the car and grabs Eesha's arm.

"What the Fuck is your problem?"

"I'm sorry about how I reacted earlier.. It's just tha-"

"I understand.."

Nick bit his lip and hesitated before speaking.

" I have a plan."

Present Time:

'The plan is going successfully' She thought as she changed into her night suit;  a pink coloured dress with white flowers stitched on it.

After changing, she went into her mom's room and sat down on her bed. They talked about her first day of school and about what happened in school. Eesha skipped the detention part, she decided it wasn't worth bringing up.

After they had talked Amna switched off the lights. Eesha put her head on her pillow but couldn't sleep. The thought of oversleeping was haunting her.

About an hour later, when Amna was finally asleep, Eesha dialled up Nick's number and called him. Nick didn't pick up straight away, and Eesha got slightly worried.

"What if he went to the bathroom or something? Maybe he's just busy." She said softly to herself.

Eesha was relieved when she heard the footsteps of a person in her yard. Of course, there was Nick. She slowly got out of bed, trying her best not to wake up Amna.

She opened the window and peeked outside. She saw Nick quietly climb up the drainage pipe on the outside of the house.

He fell down a few times,  but finally, with a bit of Eesha's help, he was able to enter the room through the window.

"Is she asleep?" Nick whispered softly as soon as he entered, glancing over at Alma.

"Yes." Eesha whispered back.

They tiptoed near Amna and got the jar off her sidetable. Eesha tiptoed back to Nick and gave the jar to him. She still wasn't sure about this, not at all, but, if it could prevent her mother's death, then it was worth it, right?

"Do you have it?" Eesha asked Nick, just to be sure.

"Yes I do. Why would I even be here if I didn't?" He gave Eesha a mean look, like he was annoyed at her.

Nick put his hand in his pocket and took out a small device so tiny, it was near microscopic. He attached it to the jar carefully, making sure he didn't lose it.

"It's on." He mumbled after it was done, squinting at the jar to make sure.

Eesha checked her mom. She was still asleep, thankfully.

They both sat down in a corner of the room. Nick still held the jar. He was looking at it continuously. A tear rolled down his face and dropped onto the jar.

As soon as the tear fell, a shadowed, shady person in a robe materialized infront of them. He pointed his index finger towards the jar.

The jar suddenly flew up in the air. Nick tried to catch it, but couldn't. It rotated and let out a blinding light and then slowly dropped back into Nick's hand after hovering above him.

Eesha couldn't forget the man. His clothes, hair and his face. He was the man who had stabbed Al. She'd been fozen, stunned for a second, but now she stood up and tried to hit him. Nick grabbed her before she could.
