*Ant's P.O.V* (Friday night)
No one knows what to expect as I enter this hospital room. What ever happens I have to understand that this is a hospital and we need to be prepared for bad news. I need to get out of my thoughts and be prepared for this. We slowly walk in the room and see her watching TV with her head turned.
"Ma?" I said quietly
"Oh I didn't think the nurses would let y'all in. You know there is a visitation hour." She laughed
"Well I'm glad you awake and alert so you can tell us what's going on? Why are you in here?" Aubrie said leaning on the wall with her arms folded.
"Aubrie please." Brie said
"Hey to you too and hey Cory. You really quiet come and sit down." Ma said.
"This is a family matter and I honestly don't know why I'm here." Cory said
"I don't either." Brie mumbled
I had to give her a say something else look.
"Brie's right, I don't deserve you and I'm sorry about everything I've done. I would leave but I just can't because you might need me now more than ever." Cory said.
"Yayy. That was so promising don't you think." Brie smiled and started clapping.
"Sorry ma" I replied
"You obviously need to get you s-" Brie tried to speak but Ma cut her off.
"There obviously tension in this room and I want to know why?"
"Nothing mama I really just want to know why you're here?"
"Finally getting back on track... I'm here because I have cancer and have been battling cancer for some years now. I wanted Ant here because I have a confession to make."
"Ohh Lord!" All of us said
"Yeah, call him but I don't know a easy way to say this so I'm just going to say it. So, when me and Aniyah's father was still together we were on our way to a cruise an-"
"Hurry please." Aubrie said
"OK sorry I guess no story but Ant....Aniyah is your sister and my husband had an affair with Aniyah's mother and the neighbor which was your mother."
The room got really silent.
"Wait, what?" Brie yelled.
"Yesss. Aniyah is not really your sister and Ant is her brother." Ma replied
I already had a clue because I could never go outside while they were home.
The room was completely silent again.
"Well someone speak!" Ma said
"How could you even keep any of this from us, seriously?" Aubrie said quietly.
"How was I supposed to tell you any other way?" Ma replied.
"The same way you told us this now I can't believe this. This is crazy!" Brie said
"Ant? Do you have anything else to say because I'm leaving." Brie said
"Brie please she is still your mother and she may be even laying in her death bed and you're upset?" I told her
"No one in th-" I was interrupted by her nurse.
"Ms.Walker visitation hours are up you have to go now" Her nurse said
"Wait, because your lying about something. How do you get scratches and bruises from cancer? Tell that lie to somebody else." Aubrie said
"I was on my way here and lost control of the wheel when I was turning onto highway 49." Ma replied giving a fake smile
