What the hell?!
A gunshot?!
This is England, where the hell did someone find a gun?!
I looked in the direction that the sound came from.
There was my stalker in his oversized jacket running away.
Thanks I guess.I heard growling around me.
My screams and the gunshot had attracted them.
How lucky.I went up to the wall and somehow managed to get myself on top of it, until I lost balance and rolled of onto the grass on the other side.
The freaks were swarming the wall. There must have been a load in hiding, hibernating.
I wish I could be hibernating.
They were now pushing against the gate, the gate that could give way any second. I needed to get away.
I got up and hobbled over to my suitcase and began to lug it through the field whilst ignoring the pain in my leg.
I must of only managed a few yards when I heard a loud snapping noise, the gate must have gave way. I didn't look around, I didn't have time, I couldn't afford for them to catch up, I needed to get away.
I began to walk faster, and faster, and soon I was running.

The sound of them had died out, I must have got away. They were probably now wandering aimlessly through a field now that their easy meal had gotten away. I didn't stop running, even though I was out of breath and my lungs began to hurt. This was a large field, but I was nearing the end and another wall was coming up.
I couldn't see any gates anywhere along the wall, so once again I threw my suitcase over the wall and then threw myself over. Only this time a grazed my hands and the showing skin on my legs on the stone wall. When I landed on the over side I lost balance again and landed on my back, on my backpack. I heard something snap inside my bag. It was probably only the chocolate bar that I had crammed inside.
I grabbed a stone on the wall to help me stand up, holding on for dear life, despite it wobbling and whilst ignoring the pain that was searing through my hand.
A few of them had spotted me, but I knew it would be a while before they could catch up to me so I walked quickly till they were out of site.
I got to the top of a small hill, where nothing would be able to creep up on me so I could stop for a rest.I don't think I'd ever been so out of breath in my life. I was actually glad that I didn't get a chance to drink the energy drink because my heart was already about to jump out of my chest, I don't think I could handle my heart rate getting worse.
I now had to worry about my leg.
It had stopped bleeding luckily, but the fabric of my trousers had now stuck to my skin.I only brought a few pairs of leggings with me because I didn't want to get weighed down. I'm not looking forward to having tight fabric clinging to my leg.
I wasn't clever enough to bring a first aid kit with me because I figured that the only reason I'd get injured was if I got bit, and that would kill me.
But I guess not.
I'm seriously lacking in common sense.I got a bottle of water out of my suitcase and drank the full 500mls, not caring about the possibility of running out of water during a drought.
Once I felt less tired, and when my heart rate has slowed down, I began to walk again.
***
I had been walking for a few hours now, I had nearly got through all the fields. I could finally see the woodland that surrounded the train tracks.
I sped up even though I felt like I was about to collapse. I was now well into my journey.
