"I don't know how to turn on my curse sometimes it just happens." I told the Professor and then he put two of his fingers to his temple and triggered every memory I had of someone or something getting me angry, and then..."Boom."
I really didn't mean to blow up the light bulb, it sort of just happened. All of the lights in the room were flickering uncontrollable and the hull building seemed to be shacking. My blood felt like it was being boiled and my skin cooked I could barely stand because of the pain. Professor Xavier was trying to calm me down by speaking calming thoughts into my mind, let's just say... it wasn't working.
After about five minutes of this confusion someone entered the room, and everyone's  resentment was so strong I could sense it without physical contact. For some reason this new person was enough to make me turn off whatever I was doing with the lights.
I turned around to find a man about the professor's age (early to mid twenties) with dark brown hair under a sort of helmet that looked kind of strange with his black long sleeve turtle neck. This man's presence somehow made me feel somewhat at ease, at the time I didn't know why and I wouldn't know for some time.
"Charles it's been a while, you never write,or call."
"What are you doing here Aric? We weren't expecting you." The professor said this as if he couldn't actually tell what this man was thinking, even with his telepathic abilities. Then this guy Aric, took off his helmet and it was obvious that the professor understood why he was there.
"Take Marida to her room please Storm, and the rest of you please go check to make sure the children are going to bed." The professor was obviously not worried about Aric being there but he was still a little on edge.
I was confused about everyone's feelings towards this man so I said "Professor what going on?"
He looked at me and simply said "we'll talk about your abilities tomorrow, go to your room and get some sleep." This wasn't good enough for me, so being the obnoxious and curious person that I was, I walked up to the professor, took his hand, and using my own telepathic abilities as they were, I was able to find some things out.
Aric and the Professor had been friends once but hadn't agreed on something so they started fighting, but once I started getting into Aric's past the professor entered my mind saying "you have no right to that information."
I let go of his hand and said out loud "Your right of course, but I've just realized, this isn't the place for me. I think I should leave."
The professor looked sad but didn't argue with me he just said "We will call your parents and they will pick you up tomorrow."
"No, I can't go back there, you already know why. I will leave at first light." I left and went to my room to pack my things. I didn't sleep much that night, I was too afraid of what the morning would bring, but when I did sleep all I could picture in my mind was Aric, as if there was some connection between us.
