Sapphire's POV:
"Does my pain bring you satisfaction Sapphire?"
"Well I am basically the definition of a sadist so... YES very much!" I proclaimed before his words actually settled, ringing inside my head.
"Wait, how do know my name?" I questioned instantly stopping my laughter, raising my eyebrows, and narrowing my eyes to give him an icy glare.
"Woah, slow down!" He said raising his hands in surrender.
"That didn't answer my question." I told him menacingly as I stalked closer towards him.
"Okay! Look, my mom never shuts up about you okay? I never knew what you looked like until now though, besides I was literally standing in the living room when my mom said your name while she gave you the tissues. Now, would you please stop walking towards me like you're about to murder me to the point where I won't be born in a next life!?!" He blurted out scrambling to his feet running to the opposite side of the couch I was currently standing on.
"Oh good! I thought I was going to actually have to kill you for a split second there." I told him while giggling then starting to pout slightly.
"But that'd be no fun at all, since you such a great tease."
"Thanks...for sparring my life then?" He asked giving a slight shrug.
"No prob. Anytime...?" I asked him walking around to stand on the same side of the couch he was on.
"Daisuke Aoyama!" Daisuke said while holding out his hand a gentle smile tugging at his lips as dimples showing on both sides. Cute.
Daisuke's POV:
I held out my hand waiting for Sapphire to shake it. But she just stared at it before suddenly grabbing it and pressing it to her left breast. I instantly felt my face flush and my eyes widen.
"W-w-what are you d-d-doing?" I asked her trying to tug my hand away but - holy mother of Christ - this girl is strong.
"Can you feel my heartbeat?" She asked instead of answering the question as her eyes filled with playfulness.
"I-i asked you first." I told her trying once again to pull my hand away - dang - still no luck.
"Just answer the question smartass." She quipped back at me.
"U-u-ummm... Your heart beats over 100,000 times a day." I answered in a bout of nervousness.
"Fucks wrong with you?" She raised an eyebrow at my outburst.
"S-sorry I say weird facts sometimes when I get overwhelmed?!" I told her scratching the back of my head, feeling my face flush.
"Awww! How cute, okay but I'll try to get this over with quick so can you answer the question for me?" The playfulness in her eyes switching over to a softer look.
"Yes, now what d-does this have to do with anything?" I do honestly wonder what's going through this girls head right now, pulling a stunt like this, my combustion level can only take so much.
"I'm Sapphire Bloom! Nice to meet you Daisuke Aoyama!" She said taking my hand away from her breast to actually shake my hand this time. I also didn't realize before but her hands are extremely cold.
"Okayyy. Can you tell me why you put my hand to your breast to feel your heartbeat now?" I wanted to know what made her think it's okay to do that with a stranger.
