"Serenity!" I screamed after our daughter. Her twin, Ethan, gripped Jason's hand. I ran, looking for her. A hellhound stood in my way.
"Jason!" I scream. Jason ran, releasing Ethan's grip. I picked Ethan up and cuddled him. I shielded his eyes. A eight year old shouldn't have to see hellhounds. Jason flipped his coin, and flew around it. He stabbed, like a roman, until it fell to gold dust. Serenity stood behind the dust, shaking. She picked up the dust, and slipped it in her pocket.
"Thanks babe," I kissed Jason on the cheek "best boyfriend ever!" Yeah. Jason and I aren't married, and we aren't planning on it. If he proposed I would say yes of course, but I personally like not being married.
"I know!" He said, picking up Serenity "is my baby girl okay?" Serenity nodded, wiping fragile tears from her eyes. That was the first monster attack inside our house. We live in the woods, so we do get monsters outside. But never inside. Huh... That doesn't sound great.
"It's okay Ethan..." I say, holding him close. I thought back eight years ago... When I was 24. A week before I had the twins.
(Dramatic Flashback)
"Hey Jason!" I smile brightly. Jason smiled back, fiddling with his tie. We where going to Percy and Annabeth's wedding. Charlie, who's 6, will be there, and their daughter, Selena, who's 4 will be there as well. Their kids are pretty cool. We where about to leave our house, when an empousi (I suck at spelling) blocked the door.
"Going somewhere?" She asked, and tried to murder us. I backed off, in fear of getting my bridesmaid dress wet. It's a light blue, strapless, and goes down to my ankles. Very beautiful, yet very simple. It's quite lovely.
Jason flipped the coin, and stabbed at the empousi, and it fell into a light blue dust. Jason sighed and kissed me.
(End of dramatic flashback)
"Oh man," I grumbled, and held Ethan closer.
